Corporate Stays

The company has its ups and downs and acts very much like a startup trying to find their direction. On the outside they can seem organized and know where they are going but on the inside is a very different picture, disorganized, high-turnover, mismanagement and constantly changing vision and direction of where the company is going. They tend to higher inexperienced people instead of talented candidates for the right jobs, as a compromise for cheaper labour. As a result, they tend to have high turnover and lower sales due to inexperienced candidates hired. As for the company culture, it has its challenges but its a fun and dynamic place to work with some room for growth but don't expect great benefits or industry fair salaries.

In a typical day in my position, I answer calls, close tickets, complete my daily tasks, and to check what's new in the company. I learned how to be able to listen and address the needs of others, as well as being able to provide info and answer questions. The management is good specially for the latest decision about separating the markets and I believe this should be done for calls as well to put someone responsible only for the calls so I believe in this case it's going be more arranged as well. The hardest part is to manage between calls and tickets sometimes. Finally the most enjoyable part is when you manage to solve the issues and make your guest happy. 

I have loved my time with Corporate Stays because for me it was never the same day twice. The company gave you the flexibility to work from home one day a week (has now changed due to covid). For those with an entrepreneurial spirit and the drive to work independently this company is perfect. It's a fairly young staff but everyone pushes to succeed and the owners are always trying to find ways to keep staff no matter how remote they may be engaged and excited. If you like routine and monotony this is not for you but if you like a challenge and growth and change it's perfect.

Managing ever changing client expectations.

Supportive and high career growth. Empowerment to take independent decisions in most situations.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Busy and challenging.  Managing client needs and expectations

Adaptation is more important than ever, if you are independent (autonomous), hard worker and have a real team spirit, I would recommand Corporate Stays. 
Very exciting challenges and all employees at all levels help each other, there is a real team culture.

Really mean supervisor, screamed at employees for little mistakes that could be solve, always complaining about other coworkers and employees, only person in the office with a old thinking habit, the general office environment was nice, other coworkers were friendly, work in general was challenging only because of the supervisor.
Crazy schedules, pay was good but forget about having a balanced work week 

I've only been with Corporate Stays a short while, but so far so good. I like the flexibility that comes with working with them, although it's all remote at the moment, there is a great team collaboration vibe through their online messenging system. It's fast paced work so be prepared to learn a lot in a short amount of time and to be moving and problem solving from the get-go. But overall I would recommend CS.

I feel that I am working with professionals that I can learn from and that they will push me to take on new and challenging opportunities. I feel respected and valued for what I bring to the firm

The position for which to you are hire might change depending the business/markets's needs but you don't get a salary readjustment accordingly.
Your ideas are always heard and taken in consideration.
You are required to do a little of everything.
