Cosmetica is one of those places that you would want to work at simply for money. There's really no other reason to work at cosmetica other than the work is super easy (Moving boxes, and putting labels if you're starting in production)

The work environment is generally ok, with the exception of a few for-lifers that often try to be "better" than you - for lack of better words. However, the more relaxed people outweigh the problematic people.

Management is the main issue. They refuses to buy better gear for employees to use (Tape gun machine hasn't been fixed in years, hair nets and gloves are the cheapest possible, and single fillers are often breaking and machine operators are blamed for it). They also seem to be super clueless as to what is going on, as they often worry about low production rates rather than the actual problem, causing a lot of the employees to have to improvise, thus reducing safety and moral.

• Process, pack, document, and track hazardous and radioactive wastes for shipment and disposal
• Sterilize laboratory heat-resistant instruments with autoclave
• Collect hazardous and radioactive wastes from work centers and ensure to provide complete and proper documentation to the management
• Develop and conduct sampling and analysis; compile records and interpret experimental or analytical results
• Help to conduct studies in the field of conversions of the secondary material tables, schemes, formulas, chemical equations, general and organic chemistry
• Study infrared rays and divisions of infrared rays in worming elements and fix them with ceramic covering, which is useful in sterilization of medical instruments in very low temperature

Assured quality approval & release of raw materials prior to manufacturing.
• Performed in-process and final finished product testing (color matching, texture and etc) ensure finished product specifications.
• Reviews Production logbooks for accuracy and compliance.
• Worked collaboratively with production lines and compounding staff to ensure products are manufactured according to SOPs.
• Coordinate filling and labeling of pre-production bulk samples in the required components for client bulk approval.
• Performed standard color matching procedures and test methods.
• Assist in control and maintenance of product labels.
• Assist in the maintenance of reserve sample storage.
• Performed routinely calibration and cleaning of Lab equipments.

Work is challenging and keeps you sane. Pay is a bit cheap but sometimes they gave  overtimes to make it up. Management not stable if someone new comes, new changes comes along just to have their imprint and with out consideration to its effect to employees overall. Work shutdowns happens, seems the marketing section is sleeping on their job, you always fear the company have difficulty keeping itself afloat. Worse is the adulterous Supervisor is not fair, does not give equal opportunity, if you are not liked you will be given hard assignments until you make mistakes, hence the reasons to fire you.

For a manager, the workday is typically distributed between meetings and responding to technical requests.  Employees learn many aspects about the manufacturing dynamics and how everything is connected. There's an opportunity to introduce Work Instructions and SOPs whenever necessary provided it makes value to the overall operations. The hardest part is overcoming the company culture that was based on old managerial practice and creates barriers between departments and sections. However, you will enjoy the fast paced rhythm of the operations, the multifunctional people, and multicultural environment.     

My daily routine as a Quality Line Leader, i give huddle to the crews before we start the line. I make sure that the line we work is safe place to work because safety first.
I do random line inspect of the quality of the product every 30 minutes as per the company required us to do. To make sure we produce a good quality.
People in the company  had different cultures , we treat each other equally with respect.
Everyday, i learned something new.I enjoy what i am doing as a Quality Line Leader.

until i was recognize by my supervisor  that i am a good worker 
she put me as her right hand she pulled me out from the line to help her out until now. 
the hardest part is during inventory time too much item to count and very dusty ,,,,,the most enjoyable part is during summer time  there is a one day that we only have to work half day and we have barbecue party outside the building and we play BINGO and there was a lot of prizes

I worked at Cosmetica Labratories as a production worker from 7am-3pm Monday to friday. A typical day at work would be 7 am you start and then you get a break at 11 am and you resume work again. Management was very strict as they wanted you to perform under pressure. My co-workers were very decent and helped me a lot. The hardest part of the job was standing at one spot for many hours as it got very tiring and confusing at times. The most enjoyable part of the job was that sometimes you would not have to perform any task if products were not being shipped

Fast faced and stressful. Sometimes we don't even get 40 hours in a week. Some of the supervisors  are rude and no respect to new employees and its not easy to work with some of the senior employees.
