The main problem of working here is the favouritism and lack of appreciation from upper management. For the amount of work and stress that a manager / supervisor has to deal with on a given shift, it is a not a good representation of the hourly wage. Supervisors and Managers on average get paid $11-13 (if you're lucky), and have to deal with crazy customers, long shifts, uneducated staff members, and the CEO. Schedules are posted the day before the week starts, leaving you no time to make a social life because you don't know when you are working. It's a good first job for young students as it teaches you how to deal with craziness and a drama filled work environment.

Working at Cosmic adventures as a cashier and customer service support has been a wonderful experience. They provide a clean and respectful work environment. Supervisors are very kind and training was made very easy. I learned lots through this and gained a handful of valuable experience which I may now use in the future for other careers I may pursue. My reason for leaving this job was the inconvenience of busing 2 hours to get to work as it was very far from my residential address. Furthermore, I required 2 months off as I was going overseas to get married which was not possible.

There is a weekly cleaning list that is time consuming and fills the slow moments in the weekdays. I learned the importance of being positive at work and working as a team to get the job done. Managers are friendly and approachable. The hardest part of the job is to get everything done and multitask, all while being friendly and helpful towards customers. The most enjoyable part of the job is the positivity and cooperation of the staff. It's very inviting.

I worked here back in my teen years as my first job as a party host/face painter.

It was definitely fast paced and sometimes it was hard to get the room ready for the next party if the first one ran late or the family made a big mess.

I was one of the best face painters so they ended up putting me on that for all the parties on the weekends and I found that help relieve some of the stress that the parties can cause.

The starting of your day is that you get change and then u get downstairs 5 min early not on the time u start 5 min early so that the people who have to leave can leave Hours are not bad but in order to get a really good pay u have to double/work everyday, management is flexible with schedules.

On a regular hosting shift you can have up to 6 birthday parties a day. It is extremely busy as you have to clean up your room in less than 10 minutes to prepare the room for the next party 15 mins later. However it is extremely fun to host birthday parties and to interact with children as well as adults.

Great first job, worked there for 7 years. Would not make it a life time job however. Owners are very nice. Often a fast paced but fun environment. If you are able to work your way up the ranks early it is a great place to be.

Working at Cosmic Adventures was a great job. There were many opportunities to learn and grow as a person, whether you worked in the kitchen, at reception or even in the structure.

favourite workplace, I like kids and the people I work with...schedule is flexible. and managers are nice, everyone working there is between the age of 15-20+ 

Not a permanent place , good starting job but would not stay . Alot of work with little appreciation. Lots of favoritism and the managers are very hypocritical.
