- It is nice to work at a regular working hours and work overtime after for at least 4 hours if necessary. 
- I have learned a lot how to used and operate power tools and air tools. It develop also my skill in carpentry, operating the forklift and overhead cranes.
- The management is very supportive to their employees and they very careful the safety of the workers and facilities and security. They will trained you for a new task of work.
- My co-workers are great, teamwork is very strong like one family.
- I don't fell any hardest part of the job, because I have big experience in carpentry work.
- The most enjoyable part of the job when you finished the work order on or before due date with no back job and with total quality.

This is a good company, they are always growing, they are the best in their field in western Canada. There’s room to advance for some, for others you will basically be a laborer. Good pay for the work. It can be stressful at times, also can be dangerous with all the power tools. There is a good safety program in place but it doesn’t always get followed. There was a disconnect between management and the workers, they had production meetings everyday, the ones I attended were hilarious. They didn’t seem to understand that the amount of overtime hours being paid and the amount of work getting done was not consistent. It’s easy to get away with things but difficult to get the changes made that are needed. 

Very friendly, helpful, flexible management, decent starting wage and relatively quick advancement. You learn lots of new skills if you are new to the workforce and if you have construction experience you will pick it up quickly and do well. It is basic carpentry, building crates for oilfield exports. Pretty hard work, but at the end of the day it is a simple job that pays the bills.

I had met some of the most amazing people at Cratex and that they slowly became a part of my family. They looked out for me like I was one of their own (a part of their own families, individually). I loved working with all the teams and departments. I loved working in the reception because it was our hub of the company.

Great place to work.  No micro managing.  They trust you to do your job and let the results speak for themselves. 
Atmosphere very friendly. Home/work life balance very important. They understand and are flexible when it comes to personal issues.
Many long term employees so that does speak to the company culture.

Dusty and noisy environment. Lots of workers. Some are  
hard to get along with. Building crates is easy but lifting for the majority. You will move work from bay to bay if you are done and continue by helping others.

Fun workplace. Flexible time. Easy to ask requests for time off even short notice. Benefits is fair. I like the schedule so you can have time for your family. Offer overtime when need to meet customers order. 

I love my job but I have two young men that will be graduating in the next couple of years and require to make extra money to pay for their graduations.

I enjoyed the job because of the variety of positions it offered.  I took over jobs when people went on vacations.  I found the variety interesting and rewarding.

Great people. Good Management. Clean and well organized working compound. Safe and secure.Fast -pace working projects and job assignments. Work is stressful at times.
