The Management is excellent due to their great efficient management skills and expertise on things such as problem solving, ensuring excellent patient care which  is fulfilled by all staff members members.

Staff members: We are great team players. We are all loving, caring, empathetic staffs. Great collaboration is achieved between all co-workers which leads us to be driven by the same goals.

The most enjoyable part of my job is taking care of patients while putting a smile on their face. That's how I know I achieved my goal of pleasing my patients through every aspect of my profession as an empathetic and compassionate nurse. In addition to my enjoyment, I like going to work everyday because I am a passionate, loving and caring person overall. I have dedicated over 16 years of nursing care in this profession. This continues to motivate  me to do my best at what I love.

A typical day at CVH is organized chaos. I work alongside kind and caring staff for the most part. It is evident that most of my coworkers are overworked, and parts of the building could use a renovation to improve the way patient care is delivered.

Many large and small companies value employee satisfaction and understand the value of this as it relates to their business. I have to say that I am disappointed at the way CVH addresses employee health, well-being and satisfaction. However, I believe most healthcare organizations across the province are probably the same. Perhaps this is a government concern and revolves around how healthcare is funded. 

The hardest part of the job is patient capacity mixed with low staffing numbers. The most enjoyable part of the job is being able to provide care and support people in a time of need to the best of my ability.

I have been working at Credit Valley as a Customer Support Coordinator since Feb 2013. I have little complaints as I can comfortably say its the best job I have ever had. Great pay compared to other places and the environment is exactly what I want. No micro management or people looking over your back. You are trusted to do your job. Indoor parking garage and a few places to eat are inside so you don't ever have to leave on your break. Subway, Tim Hortons, Hero Burger, Ginos Pizza, Second Cup to name a few. The only draw back is it is pretty hard to get into the hospital as the hire from within a lot and you will most likely have to start off part time or in some sort of temp/casual role. Other than that no negatives. 

I would typically clean and organize the Surgical Day Care area until patients would arrive. I would then attend to them by grabbing their belongings, family members and a drink if desired. I would often by sent to grab wheelchairs for the patients to leave in and sometimes take the patients down to the lobby. One month I spent on a Surgical Floor where I learned roughly about wound dressing by assisting the nurses. I didn't spend much time with management, but they seemed very well organized. The nurses I worked with were wonderful and always tried to make the best of my experience there. Hardest part of the job was when there were very few or no patients to assist with. Most enjoyable part was the nurses I got to work with.

I had a great learning experience at Credit Valley Hospital as a RN CRT, I was able to experience a variety of units at Credit Valley Hospital, which includes ER, mental health, Rehab, cardiology, Surgical, Oncology, Palliative and Medicine. From the list provided, Cardiology was the unit I was placed in most. The most enjoyable part of my job was talking to my patients. I felt I learned more from them about health then any literature I have read. The workplace culture was all about teamwork. Collaboration is a key word. Ability to work with different types of health care professionals is was I worked on the most.

my shifts were from 8am to 12 pm. my duty was to talk with patients and reflect upon their problems with my experience as being a type 1 diabetic. interacting with others is the main goal of this place, and making the patient feel comfortable is a priority here. as a result, i must keep a positive attitude. 
the hardest part of the job is when u approach someone, and they refuse your help. ur duty is to help others but they refuse it, and that bothers me as i feel like im not doing my duty.
the most enjoyable thing is getting to work with the doctors and being on the other side of the table, not feeling like a patient.

A typical day at my work involves taking the patients vital signs first and get them ready for their physiotherapy appointments. I also give them their medications and do a plan of care throughout the day. I learned so much skills including PD night cyclers and blood transfusions, etc. I love how all my colleagues work together in cohesion to provide the best care possible. The hardest part of the job is that sometimes we are short staffed and it makes it more hectic. The most enjoyable part of the job is being able to work with my patients and see them improved so much in a short amount of time.

CVH staff is warm towards a new staff e.g agency staff; brief orientation and bedside report is given. 
Haven't had experience with the management but it does reflect in the staff character that they are well managed by a good management team.
The staff at the unit where i worked, 3B and 1C were very warm and good team work ethnics amongst staff. 
The hardest is when as an agency staff you are left to float and no orientation with the environment and being ignored, but i haven't had that experience at CVH 
The most enjoyable part is the team work and respect for one another in a professional manner.

Productive environment, allow employees and specifically engineers to dedicate all their time and skills to achieve the organizational Goals
Support patients and treatment process are valuable objectives to achieve
Energy savings goals were not easy to accomplish in order to sustain patient services, however, we made it and won the award.
Communications style is unique 
Great team work between Service lines and Medical staff

What is the best part of working at the company?
Friendly environment. Great co workers, Team leaders. 
Makes coming to work so much better.  Also knowing your helping to keep a facility clean and sanitized. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
There is nothing stressful about working for the company.
