A typical day at Crocs Retail store consists of counting tills and completing all opening paperwork; checking emails and stocking the floor with new or current product. Each customer must be greeted and informed of the current promotions going on that day. Every customer must always be asked if they need assistance and if needed, you are to help to the best of your ability. Another responsibility is doing midday till counts to see that tills are balanced as well as cashing out any customers ready to make a purchase. You are to make sure all employees are working. If closing, you are responsible for filling out all closing paperwork, sending emails and cleaning the entire store and office, as well as taking out garbage. On some days when managers are unable to, I will have to complete a "weekly observation" form on employees working that day.
My coworkers are fun, productive and allow for a relaxed, playful environment while still getting the job done. Management is flexible and understanding. The most enjoyable part of my job was interacting with customers and getting to know them to be able to figure out which product would best suit them.

When I worked in Corcs, there were no managers and supervisors etc, so I was in charge of helping manage store with other co-workers. I developed my customer services skill and problem sovling capacibility by leading the store, It was nice that every co-workers helped each other, we still did good job when there were no managers in the store. The hardest part of the job was that we need to contact and asked Calgary manager to train us from long distance,.

The company has really good culture and believes in being inclusive and allows you to be yourself. Great employee discount program and very generous with free product during special promotions/contests. It's easy to keep the store clean and organized because of how efficient the stock is processed and organized. Very generous labor so you can actually focus on selling to customers and interacting with associates. 

You don’t make anything off sales unless they’re over three hundred dollars and it’s just points that you have to save up a couple thousand before you can get anything actually worth it. Management needs a major overhaul and training on how to run a business and keep employees happy, not burnt out. They complain no one wants to work but are the most unhappy people to work with, one ASM is even r*cist. They only care about the stores KPIs looking good for the DM and don’t care if they work you like a dog to do so. 

You learn a lot about customers and how to cater to them. You have to cater to everyone's needs and you need to make sure that they are satisfied throughout their entire shopping experience WITHIN the store policies. I myself usually stay out at the front and help customers and cash them out. I've learned a lot about teamwork and how to be a better sales person. The important thing is to not use pushy sales techniques because it gets customers less and less interested in anything you have to say.

Working at crocs was like the hunger games. You couldn't trust your coworkers because everyone was angling to take sales from you. The backroom is claustrophobic and a hazard (i've worked retail for 7 years and crocs was the only place i've ever refused work on the grounds of it being unsafe). Management is intense; regardless of your stats, you're never doing enough. Breaks were not given, you needed to ask and sometimes were skipped over. Overall, it sucked. 

If you’ve worked retail before, this isn’t really anything different. 

With the growing interest and hype around crocs, it’s always busy with customers coming in/out buying shoes, charms, etc etc. The styles are fairly similar so once you get the general basis/training on their shoes, it will be easy to answer any questions regarding their products. 

I can’t speak for all their locations but the one at Vaughan Mills is definitely always busy and the management there is excellent.  

Overall great job to gain experience in management. When everyone picks it up the store runs relatively smooth. We manage being short sales people on the floor with very high volume days. I think this is a good corporation, they recognize the success of there stores. If your doing this for the money do not. A Management role is underpayed at crocs. 

It got pretty busy during the weekends, but it was manageable. I loved working here because everyone was great! Management and coworkers were so friendly. I was always excited to go to work. The environment was great, as it was a big friend group/family rather than just people who worked together. The stock was a bit stressful as there was sometimes lots, but everyone helped, so it was very manageable. Met some great people here and had a great experienc, would 100% recommend!

A typical day at crocs is usually very fun and easy going. The staff easy interacts with everyone and you feel welcome the second you enter the store. Clients usual come in the store and stay from either 5 minutes to an hour. Sometimes patience is required for a day at Crocs, but it is overall very fun!
