Typical day is mixing pesticides for applicators, weekly planning and recording of crop treatment sprays biological applications and weekly scouting. Crop monitoring for pests/diseases and plant tissue sampling for suspected issues. Incoming plant inspections for pest/disease. 

I’ve learned how to control greenhouse pests using only health Canada approved products for Cannabis.

The management is competent and the workplace culture is positive with employee appreciation days and opportunities for advancement.

The hardest part of the job is dealing with the heat in the summer months and adjusting crop treatments according to changing operational needs.
Most enjoyable part of the job is producing high quality cannabis and knowing the end customer is getting a safe and clean product.



Started there when they had about 100 employees. They lost contracts and starting laying people off. They expected the remaining employees to cover the work for the employees we no longer had. When there was nothing to do, they rather have you stand around then be sent home, or work in another department for less pay then originally discussed. Went from production side to greenhouse, and they didn't tell you that it meant a pay decrease and no overtime pay even when working over 40 hours. Rules were changed at there discretion.

I've come across stories about toxic work environments, but this was my first time experiencing one firsthand. It was by far the most poorly managed workplace I’ve encountered — marked by weak leadership, inadequate training, unclear expectations, and a culture of cliques and mistrust. Some employees seemed untouchable, regardless of behavior, for reasons only management appeared to understand. Unfortunately, when I raised concerns about verbal abuse and mistreatment, HR disregarded my complaint — and I was laid off just a week later.

Never work here, The HR department never helps even when you have a problem, management is only interested in money and not in the well-being of workers, they will make you work 12 hours a day, while the people in the offices leave early to rest, just avoid coming here

 Cronos GrowCo was a great growing and learning experience in my life. Very clean facilities and great management.  I learned lots of new things daily and worked with a great grow team.  I would recommend working here. 

Everything Thing About That Company Is A Lie And They Way Over Work You 10+ Hours A Day No Overtime Pay Crappie Company To Work For Unless You Like Being Treated Like A Animal And They Will Promise You Everything But Delivery Nothing 

When I first  started, Management  cared about  you as an employee. When I left, it seemed  as if Management  was more interested  in  how much Canabis(Marijuana) was being  processed  and being  sold , than about the feelings  of the employee.

No words to express how awful it is to work here. Everyone is miserable. Expect to be treated like a second rate citizen unless you are management & if you are fortunate enough to join the management clique, be prepared for the daily drama.

Management provided little guidance or support, and expectations were often unclear, making it difficult to stay motivated or develop professionally.

Definitely would avoid working here.
