My Customer Service position at Crosby was a maternity leave contract.  It was never going to be permanent.  
A typical day started with logging onto the phone cue at 8:30.  It was a very fast paced position, and you didn't have time to get bored.  Before you knew it, you were done for the day!  I learned a lot about crane parts and operations.  I already head the business skills required for the position.

My fellow Customer Service girls (2) were very helpful when I first started the job.

The hardest part of the job was learning the individual parts of cranes, and all the different types of cranes.  This was necessary to advise Vendors what replacement parts they needed.

I believe I am a real people person type Supervisor and have no problem getting on the floor when needed. Strong work ethic best describes my way of attitude towards work. The hardest part of my day is achieving the  goals that i have set out for my day, just not enough time in the day.

quiet a noisy and steady works.. you learn to use all machine in the machine shop, we also rotated machine every 3 days.. the co-workers are easy going. The hardest part of this job is to rotate every 2 weeks from night to days to afternoon. The most enjoyable part of the job is the freedom to work by your self and make your production and the pay

Excellent organization that was run extremely well at the corporate and branch level. The staff were friendly and accommodating and typically enjoyed their jobs and coming to work.

Central location which made it easy to get to work for most individuals.

I enjoyed working at Crosby, I was surrounded by a motivated and productive team. The company always promoted a culture of improvement be it financial or operational. I was a part of several continuous improvement projects which made me feel like a valued team member.

I enjoyed my length of employment there overall.many days were fun.you could switch shifts half way through your schedule.Great benefits,many people were involved in what can we do to make things better and safer.

It is a company in which you can retire.
But if you want to learn new skills or grow then this company is not for you

Crosby Canada was a great place to work at when it was open in Canada.  They closed down the Canadian location a few years ago. It was an awesome team.
