Crown Medical Transportation

This company thrives off the fact that it is the only service that provides transportation 24/7. That is the only positive thing they can say for themselves. There is a high turnover rate of many inexperienced people who are not properly trained or trained at all before being placed with patients. They have horrible employees because they pay poorly and treat their staff poorly. It is very difficult to work in an environment with people who do not share any interest or compassion towards patients in this environment. And the big man doesn’t care as long as he is getting that payment from his patients. His vehicles are not safe to drive and he avoids getting anything fixed until he has no other choice or it is stranded…scheduling and payroll are wrong many times. The worst part is waiting for a text mssg til 9pm at night to see if you work at 6am or 10am the following day. It is a stressful environment with little wiggle room for help. This company needs a makeover and better management but unfortunately it is family owned and they are too busy with other things to care about this place at all. I’m so surprised there hasn’t been someone else trying to step in as a 24 hour service and doing it properly to take over their business. I’m sure that’s the only way Crown would start stepping it up.

It's a feel-good place. Helping those who need it ends up leaving you satisfied in doing your part in the community. However, I do not recommend this workplace. Often times they underpay you for your hours worked. They will try to pressure you into working more than you can despite giving them your availability. You will get yelled at for the most miniscule things and are trained inadequately. You are treated like you're disposable, not like a human. The work trucks are extremely unsafe and have various issues with them. There is no advancement meaning no pay raises. You will work your body to its breaking point for minimum wage. Often times you aren't given a lunch meaning you work long hours without food. 

The job itself, amazing,  if you have a joy for helping others it can definitely be a huge uplifter and decent cash. However, throughout my time at crown I was faced with mind boggling lack of care/regard for patient/employee comfort when it comes to vehicles/ working conditions. The big man's stress was also taken out on staff pretty regularly as he definitely has some anger issues as you can read in numerous other reviews.  Definitely needs more care for not only patients but staff. Otherwise the employees were like a family, and I enjoyed it for the most part.

I definitely did enjoy working at Crown. We were Definitely like Family. Hours are good patients are amazing. Only issue is the bosses temper...you can get yelled at for stupid stuff pity stuff. But he definitely cares about his guys and patients.

Overall Good Place to work

My over all experience working for Crown Medical was a great experience. Working with the people in Crown felt like family. Every one works as a Team. Patients needs came first and that was the reason I worked there, to help people. I’d work there again. 

You make minimum wage with no benefits and zero job security, you work your body to the breaking point.  Management is beligerant and has anger issues.  Company is run by a husband and wife and they only look out for themselves.  Any other workplace is better than this one.

I enjoyed the type of work duties I had to perform and the type of work. However, working for this specific company had very many disadvantages such as: a boss who was not understanding nor accommodating..

Management is terrible.. won't give you days off if you're sick, very long work hours with no set schedule and you get yelled at for everything. Employees are great to work with though. Not worth it for 16$ an hour 

How can where can I just company over 4 plus shares? I'm offering now because I got hurt this company does not care about their employees. Bad place..

The only bad thing I could say is that you never know when your finished. Other then that you work with great people and the owners are great . They have built it up from square one.
