If the business is good (as it was when I was hired) you'll have plenty of hours.  If they lose a couple contracts, then the hours start to dwindle drastically.  It felt like my job was at cross purposes to the success of the business near the end.  The more trips I made taking product to external storage, the more it cost the bakery money in storage fees.  So they obviously tried to minimize that expense, which in turn minimized my hours.  Efforts were made to increase the scope of my job, but in the end wasn't enough and they laid me off.

Benefits were pretty minimal.  $500 health spending account that isn't enough for dental/prescriptions, let alone stuff like massages and eye care, etc.  No RRSP matching program.  Basically the bare minimum.  

Generally a friendly place to work and I liked the people I worked with.  They hired me as a class 1 driver with no experience, so I will always be grateful to Paul (the owner) for that opportunity for experience.  It has allowed me to open doors in the industry that I wouldn't have been able to without experience.

Just a job that looks to pay as little as they can. Will ask you to learn something and keep you on the task for months before filling out training sheets. Usually a 10 hour shift with people speaking all sorts of languages. As long as you show up do as your told you should be alright if you are just looking to stay in one spot for years.
They do hand out freezies and gatorade when it is hot in summer and give a monthly bbq. Their christmas party is pretty rad. Secretaries are always there to help you if you have questions or concerns.
Usually management will fufill your time off and are flexible in case personal issues come up.

Depending on your department you may have long hours with very little time between shifts. Especially for sanitation workers. There are times that you may be working until after midnight and are asked to come back at 6am. Other than that, the pay is fair and most people are extremely friendly . Don't expect to have full on conversations in English as English is rarely spoken. I made some good friends their and learned lots about other people's cultures which was nice . Overall not a bad place, management could just work on their scheduling a bit.

At first we did a training in the mixing area and to prepare the production line. To focus measuring the ingredients and we did a training too in personal hygiene. They help each other to learn and educate workers. The hardest part of the job is when you work in the production line without the supervisor, And when the manager told you to run the production line. The most enjoyable part of the job is the friendly working atmosphere.

I worked in QA department and did not enjoy the experience. The manager was bias towards their old employees. They expect one person to work and cover all the areas at the same time. Blame qa for everything. Qa manager promises for more hours but turns her back. If you have a second job concentrate working on that because they only use you during busy hours and then cut down hours when not needed drastically leaving one without any income

The buisness cares little about workers saftey as opposed to the bottom line. OH&S standards are not followed here. Driving around elevating work platforms with no harness on all the time, maintenence crew works to make things more profitable for the company, not safter for the customers or employees. English speaking competency seems to be optional here ..

well organized but lacking in hours and work time, very low production schedule. things are well organized most of the time,occasionally things can get out of control but people usually get back on track really quick.

Decent pay, considering if you're an english speaker you will feel isolated and alone for most of your shift. 
Little to no benefits for basic hourly employees, yet a high demand for accurate and speedy work.

Normally from moderate to busy days.
Learned to plan for the full days work activities
Management appreciates employee initiative 
Fun work environment, people/employees seems happy at work

the management is good but its lacking of hours and many bosses. my co- workers are very outgoing.
the most enjoyable part of the job is working with people that has different culture and background. 
its not really busy place.
