The company lacks basic organization and clear structure. Expectations are unrealistic and don’t match the pay - lower-paid workers are expected to perform the same work as higher-paid employees.

Overtime is often expected, but compensation doesn’t reflect proper overtime rates. Raises are repeatedly promised but rarely delivered.

There’s very little respect toward workers, and communication from management is poor and inconsistent. Aside from a few decent foremen, most lack professionalism, respect or basic leadership skills.

Overall the environment feels disorganized, disrespectful unfair and poor managed.

What is the best part of working at the company?
There are no good parts of working for this company … they are a predator company and will screw you over every chance they can .. terrible management 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Having to go work for a group of bosses that pay you low  wages and expect a Cadillac job on a Volkswagen budget

Toxic , predatory.. you will want to quit very soon after starting

There is no good days here , only sadness and stress

Building Calgary's International airport was fun. The shifts were long, but they passed by like dust. No time could be wasted; we were all on a schedule. There's no way to explain the hardest part of the job other than it was under the hot western sun for long hours doing physical labor. Nonetheless, that wasn't bad. The work was always different, always moving on and I had a beautiful view of the Canadian Rockies.

It's very far from where I'm living.

The people are very nice and friendly

I'm always focus on the task I was assigned

I would recommend anyone who is looking for work to go elsewhere. You can work in a warehouse for better money. You won't be appreciated, you are a number here. Everyone in the architectural community knows this company is one of, if not the lowest place to work. You'll be raked over coals, you will be obligated to work more for less and expected to be happy to do so. 

Company has little respect for there employees. Jobs are run with no foresight. They expect overtime with no compensation. You need to supply your own basic PPE items or buy it off the Company itself. Wouldn't recommend any decent installer work for them. 

Its not so good working @ Custom Metal because sometime after lunch because there is no more job to be done, we were being sent home. also, when they require you too work overtime, there is not additional pay, just your daily rate even though you already work 40 hrs for the wk.

but on the contrary. i was still thankfull because they hired me

i got very stressed dour at this job and it drove me to quit. looking back tho it was not the job that did this. Having this job didn’t make it easier to take care of my mental health but it was not the root of the issue. They wanted me to stay and offered me help but i didn’t take it. Good people. 

Everyone gets along coming to work everyday is enjoyable and if you don't like what your doing one day the next it will be different different panel systems big projects can be a lot of fun if you enjoy working with your hands and using your brain 

Typical Labor job that doesn't care much for employees. Everyone there is super rude and always on edge. No ones talks nicely to each other there and almost everyday there was at least 1 verbal fight in the workshop.
