Typical day at work mostly phone calls and setting up an appointment. I learned how to expand my communication skills it based on making friends environment. The workplace culture in this company mostly talking on the phone almost the whole day and setting up and appointment to meet client houses to houses. The hardest part of the job is that you have to explore more contact and make friends as you expand and share your product for potential sale. Driving play a big role here at the Cutco especially most of the set up appointment sometimes are km or miles away. If not, very challenging and have to make a huge time adjustment. I don't drive so commuting transit is the case for me. The expense to spend for transit daily is not provided from the company and will be your own to spend. The most enjoyable part I experience is when I made 1 sale product. Good Luck!

Wednesdays were group meeting to talk about how our week had went and to see how sold the most we also would be taught sales skills and time management how to talk to customers on the phone and at our appointments how to sell more produce. My co-worker were very friendly and welcoming we all got along. I think the hardest part of the job was you only make money if u got an appointment and u make a bit more if you made a sale. You also need to know people to even make sales. The job was not  telemarketing you don't just call strangers you started with you family then their friends and so on. I have to say  the most enjoyable part of the job is how everyone cheered each other on everyone got along the work place was safe and lovable

It's a great place, 
You'll find a group you fit in, the product is easy to sell, between payments and the forever gaurantee... 
The ice cream spoon I sold my aunt for her restaurant still holds out 4 years later.... 

However, I don't know a lot of people, 
I need to get out of my "comfort zone" and get to know people before I can try again, 

You can multitask it around your kids because it's by referral only, so your not selling to people you don't know- at least at first, build yourself up in front of friends and family and then build on the network . 

And honestly, I learnt and built skills just from the meet and greets. 

Everyone worked individually but with much enthusiasm, and we shared our weekly experiences with customers at the end of the week among our colleagues to learn from one and another. 
Management was understandably tough on employees, as we dealt with customer orders and final purchases. We were all independent and solely responsible for our sales, even though our manager ensures overall customer satisfaction.

When I started off uni, I needed a better paying job. The lie by saying the base pay is 20.25/ hour, which is not true. your pay will be based off of commision. Then you will have to bother everyone you know about this opportunity or to sell them very expensive knives. Cutco/ Vector Marketing was a waste of time and caused some very good friends of mine to cut me out of their lives. Do not waste your time at this company. Do your research on MLMs.

Working as an Administrative Assistant for Cutco Closing gifts is very fast paced, constant work and communication within clients and leader. I managed all the data information, and constantly updating and entering new information. Sending our mass, and individual emails to clients with varies enquiries. As a typical day there is an objective that is planned in the morning and to be completed by the end of the day. Major organizational skills needed as we work with technology and paper form.

1. We always talked about on things we must say to customers and the reviewa and features on our product.

2. I've learned how to formally talk to people through phone.

3. It was very competitive on my co-workers since we have our commissions.

4. Hardest part of job is how can I find clients, because some are not really interested on our product.

5. Enjoyable part of the job; I get to meet different people and lots of different kinds of experience.

I had flexible working hours and regular increases in pay (our pay increased with the number of sales) however the working environment was not nice. My employer made some promises in order to motivate us but failed to follow through on his promises. I did learn how to work independently and acquired social skills. However, I regret this working experience due to the lack of organization in the company.

It is a great job for older people who have a possible clientele basis. The product for me was hard to sell due to my clientele not really wanting to spend that much money on a product they thought they wouldn't really use. The pay its self was very nice but not worth it in my point of view for what I was doing. And of course because i then moved away to a different city and had no previous clientele it made it even harder to have appointments and make sales.

The position was advertised as flexible. However, very quickly it consumed my entire day every day for the absolute bare minimum. Some of the staff were pretty friendly and the overall office work environment was pretty fun. The hardest part of the job was putting in an insane amount of hours for a very small pay.
