The pay in this job is typically low on average, the hours are long and many hours that are mandatory are not compensated for. The promotional pathway advertised is blown out of proportion and relies on high turnover in the business. The product itself (Rogers) is becoming increasingly harder to sell due to increased upfront fees and customer dissatisfaction. You are basically expected to lie about this in order to succeed. The butnout sets in fast as well with little payoff

Trusted to take on big responsibilities right off the bat, including having to hit sales leadership standards first few weeks, developing sales training for 100 + indirect reports, and acting liason between fortune 500 clients and independent sales force.

Decent company culture, but corporate growth can be limited, when compared to more direct sales roles.

The only people who won't like this job are people that can't hack 100% commission sales. In the Winnipeg office i sold on my first day, and set the record for most sales in a week by a new rep. When i moved to Hamilton it took me 5 days to get my first sale, but i am making more out here than i did at the Winnipeg office because i stayed, got through the tough times at the beginning and forced myself not to give up.

There is no work life balance. My manager ending up having a 'habit' and was fired. The position was full commission and I was encouraged to not speak to my family or friends if they did not support my work at the company. You will be asked to make sales goals and work 10+ hour days with no guaranteed compensation. The environment is unprofessional to say the least.

its been great here, everyone is willing to help, and they keep encouraging you to go and be better,

the commision part is also great as it encourages more pay if you work more...   good for hardworkers

Company culture is very important to this company. If you're willing to learn, they will invest. This is really what makes them a great company to work for!

So insecure + Management should pay more commission. Didn't like it
