While the other workers were great to work with the management was absolutely horrible. I was not payed for the first month and a half that I worked there nor was I given the tip money I was supposed to receive at the end of every second week, I wasn't even aware I was supposed to be receiving it until another co worker told me. Manager was often very verbally cruel, yelling loudly at kitchen staff and servers for seemingly insignificant things. It took me quitting and threatening to talk to the labour board to finally get all of the money he owed me which was over $400. Highly recommend not working here.

Delux is an awesome place to work. 
I have finally found a place to work that treats you like an individual and not a number. The management is fantastic and is very accommodating. Coworkers are all welcoming and fun to work with. Great opportunities to advance and refine your skills too. All around a wonderful place to work.

The coworkers are the best part of this job. Management is not organized and the owner often treats employees poorly. Biggest issues were regarding pay stubs as I never receive one after working there for 3+ years. It’s a great job for serving and making tips and friends, but not a good long term career as there is little support and no room for advancement. 

Its a smaller restaurant chain so it does not have the smooth flowing systems that a larger restaurant chain may have in place. But overall its a nice company to work for, really emphasising on local sourcing its products and keeping current with the newest craft beer etc..

Working at Delux Burger Bar was an overall great experience. I loved the environment and all the staff were friendly and made the job quite enjoyable. It's a nice place to work as well because it's small and its quite manageable as a server. Great place to work!

The management cannot handle the people. Even the general manger cant handle the staff. Poor management. If they feel that the staff are smart they will terminate it. The owner thinks that his worker are his slave. Very poor management. 
The general manager was too sensitive.

I was just hired yesterday so I haven't started yet. Will review again at a later time as I have only met with Management (who both seem amazing) and received my security pass as it is located in the Edmonton International Airport.

amazing place to work, great co-workers, great management, amazing owners. so much room for growth when they feel you're ready. a lot of regular customer which always made days great!

I have worked with very few companies who care about their employees as a person. The owner/manager is incredible and I would recommend this location to anyone who enjoys a work/life/family balance!

Have nothing to complain or compliment about, it was a decent place to build work experience while working for another company. 
would always go back if I was needing to make more money
