AVOID!!!! With this company you are sold false promises, made to believe it's a great company to work for who only wants the best for its workforce and will do the upmost to help them build their business when in reality it's the complete opposite. You are just a number on a piece of paper, no compassion for there colleges or empathy for anyones out of work challenges, and they never have a driver's back regardless of the situation it's always guilty until proven innocent, no real organisation and management is disfuntional, you can work work work all the hours in the day and by the time you pay all your costs it's nowhere near what you expect you'll be getting, you lease a van that constantly gets problems with it so has to go in to be fixed which you are charged for, you damage the van that's another cost, you have to pay within a time frame and believe me no matter how good you drive you will bang it, there is no security with this job they don't have to give you any notice period they can literally just drop you as and when they please. I've never known a business with such a high turn around of staff and there is a huge reason for this. There are company's that no longer want to do business with them and there's a reason for that also. I've never known a company like this and I would never ever advice anyone to work there, only positive note I have is that the drivers are AMAZING people and they deserve alot more respect and appreciation than they do have, you believe your working hard to build your own business but you never are your just filling up DPDs pockets to go in day after day to be treated like utter (words I would like to use but not allowed). I've never left a negative work review but I genuinely want people to know exactly what they're stepping into. Don't believe all the promises because it's not reality as far as DPD are concerned every one is easily replaced.

There is no time in this job so they can call you at the end of your shift and ask you "favours" you never know where is the place you work even if you agree to work in specific area, very heavy parcels overload vans and if you have any problem there is no one to talk to, as a driver you are responsible for absolutely everything for example if you delivered the parcel and follow all the instructions and customer will complain that he didn't received it they will ask you to go and sort it out .

Horrible place to work. Management are awful speak to temp workers like dirt. Use you as much as possible. Treat people with Mental challenged or a disability like dirt. Night shift workers have to put up with drivers who talk to them also like dirt. Afternoon shift to many chiefs & not enough Indians. This company is a horrible place to work.

Tho this job can be mostly fun and a bit of a challenge daily overall. Can also be stressful keeping up with the given time frame / window when customer happen to be unavailable or even difficult to locate.

Vehicles barely fit for the road, ongoing issues constantly.

Any issues raised with the owner are ignored. No help provided, 1 man expected to deliver 2 days worth of parcels everyday.
Work Saturdays but you're not payed for them, set wage Monday to Friday. 
14 hour days nó lunch break.

Poor management as they only think of there self's and also taking back handers off drivers and favours drivers and if tmypyr one they don't like they will let u know as they will give u a rubbish rote with big boxes so u struggle 

The time at DPD was enjoyable and very rewarding. We worked as a well oiled machine. Our top priority was Customer satisfaction.

I moved down cornwall and had difficulty settling in i had a few family issues  and need time to adjust but it fell on deaf ears and had my £1000 deposit taken away with no explanation 

I highly recommend staying away from this company as the management are rubbish the supervisor gets away with with everything the money is not good  and in the winter they dont even out the heating on you get treated like rubbish

The more you do the more that is expected of you. When you question the work load the reply you get is “ we deliver parcels it is what we do” job would suit a single person with little or no social life
