The department I worked in—especially the supervisor—demonstrated strong formality and professionalism when it came to work expectations and communication. The workload is manageable and bearable, making it easier to maintain a healthy work-life balance. Overall, Decor Cabinets provides a stable, professional, and supportive workplace.

STRESSFUL AND FAST paced  good support from Management and opportunity to grow and learn. Very great Lean culture with opportunity for each individual to participate. Great and supportive HR Director, she helps Managers and Supervisors to deal with employees and teaches to gain knowledge of hr practices and regulations.
Negative side is only that there is lots of trouble witb employees. As a manager or supervisor you spend more than half of your day dealing with trouble in between workers. 

It was easy for me to see where simple changes needed to be done. But when the office management who have never dirtied their hands try to change how an operation should be done, it usually ends in tears. There was very little interaction between management and staff . All they were interested in was the numbers and not how we got there. Not very open to suggestion, some how they felt intimidated by a knowledgeable person like myself.. 
Such a pity I never got the chance to lead the posse.

First I wanted to rate it at least 2 stars lower than I have rated. But after all it gave me a good opportunity to make a living and introduced many good friends. It has some potential but not with that outdated management and most of managers. I wish the new owner to hire new and better mid level managers or raise. Unfortunately, in my opinion, the reward and promotion system within company does not work well. It still must have a chance.

Work days varied from what was going on during those days. I have to say that working here helped me connect with people much more. I have really great co-workers working there, I really enjoy working with them. Sometimes there's so much work that your brain feels like exploding but I always kept it in Control. The fact that working at this company changed me so much makes me feel really deeply appreciated.

Decor is a terrible place to work all management cares about is numbers. They work you like a dog for very little pay, your looked down on for not working overtime and saturdays. The will use you up then spit you out like u meant nothing.  It happened to me and I seen it happen to others before me. They like to call themselves a “Christian company” which I guess they feel that  gives them the right to be hypocrites.

The thing I miss the most about working at Decor Cabinets is how organized the company is, office and production plant.  There is so many opportunities to learn, grow and advance.  The employees are very well trained.  Excellent health and safety department. HR is always so incredibly helpful in work and personal situations. It was a great experience. I wish I had never left.

A typical day working at décor cabinets starts with a meeting as a group in the department you are working in. The meeting involves a discussion about goals for the day, new news and any questions or concerns, and then you get right to work. The environment is always very respectful and kind.

For short term, this place is great, its higher paying than a basic restaurant job. Management inst the greatest, Supervisors are inconsiderate and don't care if you need a day off for an appointment or anything. Coworkers are decent, most of the time they are good to each other and you can build friendships.

General labour, learned how to spray pieces of cabinetry, and how to troubleshoot problems and be able to work in multiple area's over a period of time.
