This company will suck the life out of you, and try to make you feel worthless!  Don’t let them; they are truly not worth your time or energy to try to help them. The "owners" a Father/Daughter team yell and scream at each other in front of staff making them very uncomfortable, they are often not on the same page.  Employees who are the Experts will see the owner making a mistake but will not correct him due to his outburst and tyrants he seems to display on a daily bases.
BBQ's Oh yes, the owner cooks inside the building beside peoples vehicles that are being worked on including "GAS TANKS". However only less than a handful are invited to these, including the shop supervisor and spandex wearing females, which is approved office attire at this business.  When you see Calendar Girls still on a wall in the office, you can be sure that the rest of the shop is ran like the 70’s as well. 
This is not a progressive business, nor professional in any way shape or form.  I have seen windshields being installed incorrectly oil caps left off, CVIP's not done properly and having to return for repairs due to the repairs!  
If the daughter finally shows up to work you may or may not receive benefits depending on how she feels, they do not follow their own policies or procedures.  Employees are not treated the same, one might get offered benefits at 3 months, another gets them at 6 months, and/or 8 months they are not consistent. Same thing with pay raises could be one after 3 months, 6 months or maybe a year however it is not consistent.  Majority of employees work in fear of the Owner as he flies off the handle very easily and often, or he will just ignore you and talk to you through other employees a lot of backstabbing here.  I had some concerns, sent them to the owner who turned around and forwarded my concerns to that person.  That person stood behind me while I was preparing a shipping order and he read the email out loud in Spanish to his partner thinking I did not know what he was doing, however they didn’t know I understand some Spanish and knew what he was doing right out loud behind my back.  Pathetic people!
This company doesn’t keep up with building maintenance, lights were out for months in the store room making it difficult to see, there is no heat in the winter and you smell diesel fuel, paint fumes and yes BBQ fumes through-out the building.  Run away and don’t look back!  Very low pay here!



This shop has an extremely high turnover rate. The foreman and workmates are phenomenal, but the owner is insulting, rude, demanding and treats people like a slave that he owns. His verbal attacks border on abuse/bullying and his screaming fits remind me of my kids temper tantrums. He undermines his management and belittles employees in front of each other as well as in front of customers. I’ve never quit a job so fast in my 30  years in the workforce. Run from this one.

was really hoping for this place has great potential but needs many more changes . Past people and past was they did things have changed but rebuilding takes time

Owner does a lot of micro managing instead of letting his workers do the job, doesn't give apprentices starting out a chance. Could be run a lot differently and better

Team based projects, which is nice for revisions and making sure quality content gets out out. Mix between fast paced and steady days which makes the day go by faster. Always something to be busy with. 

While I am terrible at interviewing, they still took a chance with me. Management is kind and understanding. As long as what your intentions with any company are to do your job within the best of your abilities, you will enjoy your job. 

The only thing about the company that was good, was the mechanics in the back who worked on the units. The shop manager was one of the only staff members who helped with any questions or concerns.

it was not a good or fun job, the bosses favored and did not make friends easy, i always felt i was in the wrong under pressure and never felt safe. i always did my job properly and effectively

They're so desperate they will hire you as soon as you walk in for an interview... but dont get too comfy, they'll let you loose just as fast!
Very difficult work environment and atmosphere!

Management has no personal skills. They are only in it for themselves. You can never do anything  right. They all hold a grudge and will not give an honest refference
