All show and no substance.  Lots of talk about collaboration, which is true on practitioner level.  Very much enjoyed those relationships.  But on management level, lots of back door discussions, back-stabbing and overall lack of insincerity.  Management would leap before discussions with affected parties and get caught / surprised given its lack of knowledge.  CEO was green and lacked personal touch or situational understanding in key HR situations.

My time with Dimension Data Canada was great. I learnt alot but the company struggled with growth over the years. This resulted in little no opportunity for growth for employees. The management team just seem to repeat past mistakes over and over again.

Enjoyed working with different client and different project. I enjoyed the the opportunity to work from home. The work life balance was also something to live for. The hardest part is that is that it was a projectized environment. There was no home once the project is done.

The company was full of great talent and different teams worked passionately to make things happen, however it seems there are lack of sound business strategies and the finance situation worsen over the course.

They offer an excellent opportunity to work on some of the lower mainland's signature projects, with a lot of company infrastructure in place. The hours are flexible, allowing leave for appointments or illness.

The expectation was to work double the hours without any compensation. When you finally take a step back be careful not to lose your job. I'm sure its a great company, just not when I worked for them.

HR and Line managers at dd are not aligned effectively.

Too many managers at the company are uneducated and lack skills.

The company is truly TOP Heavy.

Dimension Data offers a great amount of flexibility to employees with where you work from. 

Management is a little too heavy and not enough works.

The hardest thing here is the workload.
