EASTERN CHRYSLER

I was an assistant in work experience referred from Technical Vocational High School in pursue of getting a job offer. I would say the hardest part of this job would be (if collecting flat rate pay) is the rate at which you must go for a good dollar. If you take longer than 8 hours for a job that is estimated to take 8 hours you are working for free. On the other hand, if you picked hourly rate you are paid for those 8+ hours. The most enjoyable aspect is if you find pride in doing the work and making the customer happy. If you are there for other reasons you will not like it. Was no employee, only there for work experience.

Eastern has a wonderful team, you'll love it if you're a success driven person whom wants to put in a lot of hours. This is not a 9 to 5 jobs, there is lots of extra hours and a lot you still do at home. You make great money - IF you're willing to put in the work. Your bosses will expect nothing but the best, and will make sure to help you succeed, but will also be clear on when and where you're not working hard enough.
You have daily morning meetings, and you'll have to give clear and reasonable goals for yourself.

I worked at Eastern Chrysler from 2010-2014, they are a very flexible employer. Eastern's management will make sure you get the appropriate amount of shifts based on your situation (school, leave of absence etc). From the showroom to the detail shop everyone gets along pretty well. The managers all know your name by the second week. The only knock on the company was the lack of advancement salary wise in my position (detailer).

Management is very supportive. in my experience in Eastern Chrysler they want me to treat my department as my own business and that made me a better worker/teammate. it made me understand how a business should run. I treasure our "family treatment in Eastern Chrysler" that is why it is my most enjoyable part of the job.

I was in charge of all Pre-delivery Inspections of the new vehicles as well as oil changes, brake jobs and assisting in larger jobs. My co-workers were pretty good from what I can remember, I didn't have a lot of interaction with management to make an opinion. The most enjoyable part was working on cars.

My time here started off well, and quickly deteriorated when I became unable to tolerate inappropriate behaviour of other staff members. If you keep your head down, don’t report anything shady you see going on, and are generally agreeable, you could probably survive here. 

This wouldn't be the kind of job you would have for a lifetime career. It is just a temporary solution. If you are okay with working with a lot of males, you should be okay. Knowledge about vehicles makes things smoother as well.

I have found that there isn't much professionalism with management, rude and disrespectful to employees, lack of competitive wages. no wage increases for over 5 years and have been told there wont be any soon.

developed life long friends and the owners were awesome. The Rewucki family have strong work ethics and morals. Pay was good. 
Alot of my work ethic was developed at Eastern Sales

Great manager, however many issues carried over from old management team that haven't been resolved yet. Created a mixed and stressful environment. Better options out there.
