I am involved in functional design of a big Smart Metering Program  which is a massive project in EDF Energy. I involve in Stakeholders meetings, gathering business requirements, design solutions and prepare functional specifications. 

Coordinate with Development team and support them during build and    testing phase.

Involve in Implementation activities and post go implementation support.

I thoroughly enjoy this kind of work.

for a company that has such a vast international presence, the Canadian leg of this company is very disorganized.
they are so caught up with policies that they have forgot no clients no work no money.
too much admin not enough client care.

They need more focus on actually looking after the clients needs, and less administration.

I believe EDF to be a good solid Company to work for as they have a very solid background in what they do.
They are experiencing the typical growing pains of any Company that is new in Canada but they are a Large Company elsewhere.

This is a Company to watch in the future.

Little support and conflicting expectations make for a poor culture. Distrust of management is high as a result of hidden truths or outright lies to employees.

Been with the company almost a decade, work alongside others who are beyond that. Truly feels like a work family, no big reason to leave, great benefits, good pay, supportive and flexible. 

The job offers valuable experience and presents many opportunities for growth. However, the HR culture remains a significant drawback. It needs substantial improvements to foster a more positive, productive work environment. 

Personal development is promoted and employee initiatives are supported by managers.
Employees are quickly empowered but always supported for any questions or misunderstandings.

I will recommend this company to my friends. they offered a good salary and work environment was totally fine. They had good benefits and colleagues were good. I had a good chance to study more things.
