Loved coming to work daily. The smiling faces of the clients and staff made the environment fun and stress free.
While working here I learned valuable teaching skills, organization skills and communication skills. 
My manager was usually very approachable and kind, and seemed interested in helping me to further my education in the field as well as help to make the centre better.
All my co- workers were happy and outgoing, which made daily interactions easier. I formed long lasting friendships with many of my co- workers.
The hardest part of the job was nap time, only because it is so hard to keep so many loud and healthy children quiet while others rest.
The most enjoyable part of the day was art or story time, I loved watching the children sound out words or use materials to create the wonderful things they imagined.

I really do love this job, but mentally it is draining. I am not challenged and the routine is repetitive. Physically I keep up well even though it's extremely busy most of the time. The hardest part of the job is watching unfit/untrained staff being left alone with children. I have a great supervisor who is understanding and good to me. I just wish he/she was harder on people, and communicated with staff better. I've learned to have more patience and better social skills, with speaking to parents/co-workers. I think people forget we take care of little lives and safety needs to be number 1. I work with a few amazing people, and the children will always have my heart. Those are the horrible parts about leaving! Not getting those little hugs and smiles everyday!

let me start off by saying I worked at the bradford location for almost a year. And neither of the management or staff viewed me as a actual qualified staff. 
Next,
 The management there is extremely unprofessional and unqualified. There have been multiple people come to me personally who have received vicious voice mails putting down former employees...
 The early childhood educators, who are supposed to be professionals, should be less than qualified to even work with monkeys. The staff there are rude to the children and ignore their cleaning duties to gossip about the other staff or would be on their phone.
Then, 
when i chose to leave this branch, i contacted the company to file a formal complaint only to find that the company had did nothing for my sake.

I love working at EDUKIDS Stouffville! I love working with the kids and MOST of the staff, I have no complaints coming into work everyday. My director is fun and shows lots of appreciation for the staff and I have no issues with them, except maybe how sometimes they let certain people get away with things because they’ve been there for a long time. But I do love working here. My biggest complaint is the owners and how much lack of respect they have have for their employees and lack of pay for our hard work. 

Blatant favouritism by management in a toxic work environment. Co workers would back stab and gossip about each other and families. Cleanliness was not a top priority and occasionally ECEs would nap during nap time. Wage is pathetic and I really cannot stress enough that management was horrific, they did not know what they were doing and had staff working without first aid. 
 This is not the place to work if you value your mental health.

I am responsible for opening or closing the centre, washing and sanitizing the toys as well as plan activities for children. 
the best part of my job is seeing the children grow and learn new things everyday from potty training to learning how to say their first few words.

Edukids was a wonderful experience for me.  I was a preschool teacher for 4 years and had a wonderful learning  experience. I had a wonderful room partner who gave and accepted feedback so we can continue to make learning safe and fun for the children. I sadly had to leave as I moved Out of range.

The centre is a very  friendly  place. The children are nice and its very clean. There are lots of different activites to do and  they have lots of outtings and people that come in to  the centre to help you out with things. There salary is good wage  but sometimes they have to many rules and  don't always treat people fairly.

working a typical day involves welcoming children, helping children with self-help skills, programming day to day activities based on the ELECT, taking children on trips and having fun watching the amazing children develop.
