Only hire part-time 3 months at a time and only tell you your final day if your contract will be extended.  Supervisor tells you great job in coaching and then contract not renewed for you, but others get extended?  No opportunity to improve if you don't know what you are doing wrong.  Also, very strict call quality script.  Worked in call centres my entire life and have never seen anything so "nit-picky".  They need to learn that customers care more about how you say something to them more than the exact words you use.  Good salary not worth it.

Working for Electrical Safety Authority I Carried out the customer service and clerical accounting duties of the Electrical Inspection function, including the preparation and processing of inspection permits, deficiency notices and shortages, maintenance of all accounts and customer payment relating to inspection activities, the coordination of various clerical procedures, the liaison work with inspectors,customers, contractors, and public safety officials.

Good place to work with ability to move to different departments so your skills are more applicable. Training is embraced and encouraged throughout and coworkers are kind. It does get slow or boring sometimes due to monotony.

Best benefits and salary you will find anywhere. However, it does not make up for the horrible work-life balance.

Probably the worst place I have ever worked. Money is not everything and it could not keep me there.

Focus on inbound calls from licensed electrical contractors, general public, fire departments, inspectors regarding issuance of permits for electrical work conducted in the province of Ontario

Great pay and people. Very competitive to get a permanent position. Who you have as a manager will determine how well you do in the company. It can be extremely stressful and you are constantly under review. 

Very intense process as a temp,  hard to get permanent position,  good pay.  It's almost like they want the temp staff to complete with each other instead of work together for the few positions that open up 

very competitive, bad management, very unhappy with the level of professionalism, union based mentality. hired on con tract and told not to take any days off for two years.

Tough to get contract extended but was a great place to work. Money was awesome and so were the people. A place you enjoyed coming to everyday. The customers were respectful

Inbound call centre environment. Great training and really awesome staff. It competitive to get a full time permanent position but overall the pay is very fair
