Technology is amazing to work with. Quality and technology are by far the best out there however it is over shawdowed by the inadequate management. Lack of decisions are going to bring this company down further and further. No real management is done. No decisions are made and vagueness is rampet. Very disappointing as it could be a very good place to work if a vision was present. Also, heavily Quebec based. Disregard for other provinces and the English language is prevalent. I truly hope they get management that will take them in a direction that makes decisions as I don’t want to see them fail as a lot of good people work there. Especially the technicians. But I don’t see them lastly long term on the path they are on now.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Very Little, once a month they have a pizza budget, that only a hand full of employees attend.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Seasonal work, Winter's are dead and employees are let go. For a small company, too many silos , sadly lead by management. Salaries are significantly below market.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Every group works in their own silo. No real culture or excitement, just black and white environment. I wouldn't be to off if I say 1960's German type company resisting change.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
One step forward and ten steps back .... many unproductive & "boring" day!

First off, this is a maintenance gig, so expect the same thing, over and over and over again, without deviation. Seriously. The day to day is so repetitive, that it’s disheartening. My talent as a journeyman electrician with vast varied experience is wasted here.

Wages are lacking , especially in my area. They demand journeymen electricians, but pay well under the minimum going rate.

Benefits are very good, RRSP matching is nice. Work life balance is superb. The work itself leaves a lot to be desired, you’ll leave each day without a sense of pride and accomplishment in your work.

Great job, great company, training and tools provided - boss in  Wellandport is THE BEST! If you're not afraid of heights or small spaces - go for it!! Fairly laid back management style (service trucks) but expects the job done -and done safely!...
Turbine fleet in Wellandport are gearbox-less so VERY SAFE! German engineers are awesome.   New parts, equipment, clothes and tools always at the ready - can't say enough about these guys - just great all around!

The job entailed loading and unloading trucks with supplies and filling customer orders. Learned about ladder trucks and crane trucks. Management were easy to get along with as well as my co-workers. The hardest part of the job would be working outside in cold or wet weather handling shingles. Making sure the job was done correctly and going home.

They seem to only really care about productivity and not too much about their employees and their quality of life. Tried to guilt people into travelling during a pandemic. Pay is quite low compared to anywhere else as a Red Seal tradesman. They have no problem telling you things to string you along or get you to agree to something only to change the agreement later when it’s too late for you to say no.

The only real benefit comes with the flexibility on day to day work and casual environment

The management is sale-driven and other departments are less important.

One of the worst pay on the market. Furthermore, unstable work environment since the market is tributary to provincial governments goodwill.

The decision are made in Germany. Don't expect they will consider you.

Good job with good pay and benefits. The work is sometimes strenuous and in tight quarters but usually enjoyable. Recently very safety orientated due to new regulations. Management is indecisive and vague with a lot of micro-management. Very high turnover in white-collar positions.
