Technical inspection is my trade. I really appreciate the old company for taking me under its wing all those years ago. A typical day, before we closed was training and working with new, young employees. they were very ambitious and wanted to do a good job. They were a pleasure to work with. The finished product  was in most cases, very nice. I learned my trade with Home and Park/ Roadtrek, and many other things as well. I grew with the company. The most difficult part of the job was the "on the fly" engineering and repairs. In my opinion, this was a large part of the problem which caused the closure of the EHGNA.

While working at Erwin Hymer Group I found it easy to work with many of the people in my department, even though i was younger than all of them. However the upper management of the plant was poor, it may have been due to the company hiring 500 people at once, leaving all the supervisors spread thin and lead to some work instructions being rushed. On top of that the demand for products increased as well, meaning that people had to work harder to meet with demand, and since so many people were new, the product quality declined.

I loved working at Erwin Hymer NA the people were so relaxed and fun it was like we were one big family. Working with power tools is what I want to do. See the whole process from start to finish is awesome truly to see what the custumer is actually paying for and going to enjoy was fantastic 

Good people to work with as far as co-workers. Lead hands are under too much pressure and therefore pass the tension onto the workers.
Too much emphasis on quick production and not enough attention to detail. Too ruched to train new employees properly.

it was really fun and gaining new skills and knowledge at Erwin Hymer Group to work, unfortunately company had been bankrupted so that we had lost that job, we really miss that environment of job.

This was going to be my forever job until they went bankrupt due to embezzlement.
Without money, the company closed.
It does not exist as a company anymore, at least in North America

I made friends which I can call family at this company. enjoyed every part of the job specially those who worked for me on the line.
i learned alot on this job including how to manage employees and deal with issues.

I loved working there right up till the management was all fired and the company put into receivership have never worked for the new company but hear good things

A good place to work, but there were bad decisions from the management. good salaries and benefits, Good teamwork with good experience, safe, but there was bad communication between both shifts.

This was a great place to work. The company went bankrupt, so I lost my job. Co- workers were great to work with. The building was well maintained and was very clean.
