I have worked in several organizations and each one has some up sides and down sides. EIL is one of those rare companies that is outright awful. The work culture is toxic, stressful and there is no work life balance. The management wants to hire people who have resume gaps or are desperate to find a job, so they can hold on to those poor souls. 
The VPs and Directors lie in the interviews about the company's culture an retention rate.
As a PM or PE, one will probably need to sleep at the mattress company located on the same floor. 
As a PM, I was getting over 120 emails a day, each  being super urgent!! This was due to the lack of poor processes and not supportive and two faced management.
Some of the more experienced PMs that have been with the company through all its ups and downs are being severely underpaid and overworked, and this is really shameful for the  management team that call themselves humans.
Some of the so called senior managers in the PMO team lack basic work ethics and culture, and I'm not sure how they were hired to the job.
My advice to future employees, if you need a job to support yourself and your family, accept the offer, but look for another opportunity from the day one.

Honestly learned alot working at exchangers, They have one of the best safety programs compared to other industrial shops. It gave me my start and recognition in my trades career,  they invest in you when it comes to safety.  It is unionized which at the time was  political, But if you truly are there for good honest work for good honest pay there will be no issues. Learned how to drive Bull moose cranes and the assembly of Air coolers as well as Utube Heat exchangers. 

I was hired to work in the accounting dept, at first I was very excited about my journey that was going to begin I thought finally I've landed a great job. My very first day I received not a very welcoming from a co worker in the department. From that day forward until my last of work with exchanger was a spiral of downhill . The job training was not there. There was 100 % lack of. When asked questions I was told to look in the journal. The over all moral not good. The wages awesome. Management does not stand behind you. Favorites are looked after.

Old boys club. Mental health will pushed to max. No advancement and no support. Pushed around.  Avoid at all costs for steady and secure job. Short term 6 months okay. Live by their rules and rules change for management and not workers. Bad culture will break you down

Union environment some politics involved, Very good saftey program they take it to the next level which i really liked. they dont micro manage you if you know what you are doing you are not bothered or micromanaged if you are actually working. all in all a good place to work, if there is no shortage of work. otherwise its lay offs. And it goes by seniority so its kinda hard to stay long term

Very disorganized shop,  set up is congested when the shop is busy.  Their has been two fatalities unfortunately.  Salaries are very good considering the state of the economy.  Tools and tool crib is terrible.

Production meeting where production tells the team what they didn't accomplish and what inspections committed too will not be happening and need to be rescheduled this is a daily exercise.

when i was worked in exchanger its very safest place and my co worker is nice to me and also the management of the company.the hardest part of the job is to blast in cold weather.and i was enjoy to my job in paintshop because its my passion.there is a lot of fun with my co worker becasuse they enjoyed my companion especially in my work place.

Basically working for pathological liars which they don’t remember their own rules. Work busy management yelling screaming throwing tools swearing constantly. They hate it if you have a life. 
Work until you die then they will ask if you coming tomorrow. A day of is end of the world. Already 2 people died here. 

Sweatshop style manufacturing firm, very understaffed. 

I am not sure if some of these reviews are fake or written by some of the oversees suppliers who are taking away the Alberta jobs!!
