At Braggs Communicatinons Inc., aka…”Eastlink”, you are viewed as a number and not a employee. The TMs only care about SALES and unless you are generating sales for them, you will become an afterthought and will find yourself lonely and thinking of quitting.

Next, the pay is so poorly that you can’t afford to keep your own medical insurance and the employee discount is terrible. In addition, with their training, they think you know EVERYTHING and if you don’t you can easily fall behind and the instructor will tell you to consider finding another job.

This company and the amount of work they expect you to do will leave you BOTH physically and mentally sick. DONT DONT DONT work for them as for them the bottom line is the bottom line and nothing else matters along with the fact they have incompetent managers who lack emotion and understanding and favor certain employees.

I feel that Eastlink is a great place to work It's a very friendly environment. The managers are very helpful. I've never had a issue with my team and the group of people I work with on a day to day basis. The benefits are very good covering between 80-100% from dental, medical and physical therapy you also get paid vacation and sick pay. The starting pay is $13.50 and after 6 month probation and evaluation you can receive between $1.50-$3 raise. In the 3 weeks of training you cannot miss 3 days of training you will need to have a very good reason why you missed 3 days of training if your sick get a doctors note for other reason talk to your tainer they are there to help you. After the 3 weeks of train you will be assigned to a team and be introduced to your team manager.

The people are great.  There is a lot of knowledge and experience there.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The expectations is to make decisions but the reality is don't make a decision.  If the idea didn't come from above you then it can't possibly be right.

There is a culture of distrust that comes from a total lack of experience in management. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
There is nothing typical.  The one thing you can count on is that you can't count on anything.

Our work atmosphere is very light hearted and I have a pretty easy going manager. Not all corporate has to be straight and narrow. The absolute best part of my job is building a clientele and earning annual bonuses, plus commission. It really gives me the opportunity to set goals, and earn a comfortable living wage without full-time hours. In my 2+ years at Eastlink, I'm still learning and growing with the company. It's fabulous

Mismanagement and micromanagement from the upper teams.

Non existent. Work for minimal pay below industry standards.

This was a job full of challenges and continuous learning. Answered calls Nationally for billing and sales. They closed down Customer Care in the Sudbury office immediately unexpectedly without notice.

My manager. I was sales, and I was good at it! What I found out is tge better you are at sales here, the harder the managers drive you. For every commission their team makes they get one too. Everything else was perfect. I would still be there if not for my manager. I quit because he made me miserable. No matter how good ny sales were, lets bump it up!

call center environment that is primarily focused on micromanaging employees, setting impossibly high expectations, having a million rules and limitations and belittling them for trivial issues that arise, most management have a god complex and treat employees like high school students.

This was the worst job ever,they do not train you properly and put you out in the lion's den. It's all about selling their expensive products and they will try to keep the customer's money when it is owe to them. Some of the female coaches are rude and two face.Keep a close eye on your bills because they can easily rip you off.

I worked for EastLink for 10 years and it was a great company to work for with amazing hours amazing benefits and a great salary. I loved going to work every day because I was a supervisor and got to deal with mostly the other front line agents who were looking for help to help out their customer.
