As an employee at this car dealership, I must say that I have had a truly disappointing experience working here. The management is downright terrible, and it reflects in everything from the way the dealership is run to how customers are treated. The new general manager is an absolute dirt bag and only cares about himself. His emotions get the best of him and is terrible at his job.

To begin with, the management is extremely disorganized and has no sense of direction. They make promises they can't keep and constantly change their minds on decisions, which results in a chaotic work environment. The lack of clear communication leads to confusion, mistakes, and delays, and it makes it difficult for the staff to do their jobs effectively.

Additionally, the management doesn't seem to value their employees' opinions or suggestions. They make decisions based on their own whims and don't take into consideration the experiences or insights of those who are on the front lines dealing with customers and sales. This leads to frustration and a lack of motivation among the staff.

Despite all of this, the one bright spot in this dealership is the staff. They are hardworking, dedicated, and genuinely care about providing the best service possible to customers. It's a shame that the management doesn't seem to appreciate or utilize their skills and talents effectively.

Overall, I cannot recommend this dealership due to the poor management. The staff may be great, but without proper leadership and direction, it's difficult to provide the level of service that customers deserve. General manager messed this entire dealership up.

Managers have no knowledge of even the simplest of department tasks.  The parts manager is unable and unwilling to even pick up the phone. Even after working there for over 10 years he lacks the knowledge to even look up an air filter. The department wouldn’t even notice if he wasn’t there. The service manager, although a nice guy, is nothing more than a yes man. And the general manager is either blind to the fixed op issues or to busy with his own agenda. The Mcmanns group doesn’t care about the wellbeing of their employees or their families. They refuse to allow any long term benefits even if the associated costs fall completely on the employees. Several loyal employees have been kicked to the curb after suffering serious illnesses. The environment breeds a don’t care mentality that is filtered down to customer care and service.  By far, one of the worst dealerships ever to work for.  The only upside to this horrible place is some of the staff. Although there is a huge turnover rate, there is a few that for some reason decide to stick it out. I’m guessing because they’ve never experienced a decent employer.   If youve heard the horror stories about this place and thought they were to outrageous to be true, think again because they are and you probably didn’t hear the half of it.  Unless your using this place as a steppingstone to greener pastures STAY AWAY!!!!!!

The overall feel of Eastside Dodge is welcoming and a great place to start a career or learn the tricks of the industry. Most of the co-workers are very friendly and willing to help out if you have any questions. Management is nice and is also willing to help with anything if needed or direct you to the proper person. The environment is very laid back but you do have to put in time if you expect to succeed. The scheduling of hours is a major shortfall and most definitely had a part to play in why I am no longer there. I never got a solid schedule and my hours were always given by word of mouth. 

The payroll department are very sly and still owe me pay for costs which were said to be covered when I was given the job. Paperwork to prove this is present. I am currently battling with McManes Automotive Group (the parent company) in order to receive what I am entitled to. 

Overall, this was a fun dealership to work at; just keep all of your paperwork as it may come in handy later on down the road!

I have worked as a salesman here for almost 5 years. 
A typical day here involves motivating meetings, tools, and training for further success.
The hardest part of the job is making sales in a down economy. That being said, I am comfortable with the compensation given.
The most enjoyable part of the job is meeting new and interesting people on a daily basis.
The management are supportive and are very happy to help. They are very happy to have you succeed in your field. There are many opportunities to advance in your chosen career field, and those advancements are celebrated regularly.
There are various staff parties throughout the year.
Safety and happiness in the workplace are always a priority of the staff and management.

Pros: None 
Cons: There is no job security at Eastside Dodge. You can be dismissed at the slightest provocation. Any complaints you may have is treated like a threat and you are promptly told that if you don’t like it; then there’s the exit door and you can find your own way out. You’re also told that everyone is expendable and that they have stacks of resumes ready to replace you. A very tense environment.

Everyone is on their own no one will help. Manager and office workers look down on everyone working in the shop and expect way too much from you. They don't know what it takes and how long it will take you and they don't care. They don't ask you to stay late they tell you to stay late. You'll get written up asking for a couple days off around Christmas. It's impossible to move up from being an apprentice they don't want you to progress and learn to be better. You'll long for the end of the day, everyday because it's that demoralizing.

Management doesn't care about its employees,  any concerns brought forth either gets you written up or fired. Cant make 40 hrs a week, pay isn't on par with journeyman wages.hey always find something wrong with your work. It's a "it is what it is" mentality or quit atmosphere. Benefits are garbage, so many rules you have to follow. Estimators can't do their job, parts person is always unhappy and the manager doesnt do anything but criticize. The shop is a joke and is ran poorly.

You're expected to do your job correctly. Management not that friendly but co-workers and staff were great to work with.
A typical day was clearing out our workspace to begin with, (overnight deliveries). Scan in parts, place parts in designated areas. Pick orders and help load delivery vehicles. Bring heavy parts to the shop for auto repairs. 
Culture was pretty serious about getting your job done with some joking around.
Having fun with the guys.

Terrible management, for the most part no leadership skills what so ever. Only thing that saves it is a strong core of staff members. Your able to get away with most things because they are scared of there own shadow around there. Most of the staff takes advantage of this. As employee your left picking up all the extra work, while managers won’t even help when your drowning
