I would not recommend working here based on my experience. I worked in this role for seven months and was consistently the top salesperson, including during my probation period. The company expects you to meet quota every month, and if you fall short, you are placed on an acceleration program.

Leadership and internal politics were the biggest challenges. Decisions often felt made behind the scenes, creating situations where employees were set up to struggle. Concerns raised about cross-departmental issues or challenging behaviors were not addressed constructively, and requesting a move to another team seemed to negatively affect my standing.

Compensation is another concern. The base salary starts at $55,000 per year, even for bilingual employees. The monthly quota is 21 new accounts, and even when consistently meeting targets, total compensation including bonus is under $70,000 per year. Commission payments can also be delayed.

The company culture was disappointing. High performance did not always lead to support; in some cases, it seemed to make management uncomfortable rather than appreciative. Internal systems and tools are outdated, which can make day-to-day work more difficult.

Ultimately, despite meeting and exceeding expectations, my employment ended under circumstances that felt unfair and discouraging. While the role could be a good opportunity in a different environment, the combination of leadership style, internal politics, and outdated processes made it a difficult place to thrive.



The people I work with are great. They are one of the main reasons why I've stayed at the place for this long. However, with the management, there are things that can be changed. It is mostly that reason why many experienced people with a lot of knowledge are leaving. When I do mention experience, they are people who have been in the company for min. 3 years. They have so much knowledge about the banking industry and what happens in the back end, yet because of the change, a lot of people are leaving.

Internet Secure is a provider of payment solutions for conducting business over the internet. A typical day at work involved resolving customer issues an balancing the payment sub-ledger with the general ledger. 

Although a nice company to work for, the pay was not great and they have since been purchased by the Elavon, which absorbed some of the administrative functions.

So I never had a manager for a long period of time. I either had one for a bit didn't have one at all and then when we got one they had no management background whatsoever. That was obvious. They encouraged competitive behaviour to the point of toxicity. Meaning, if you were doing well in your sales you could get away with treating anyone however you wanted.

Great work environnement & team work.
Average between 20-50 calls per day depending on how quick you are with resolving problems.
Always learning new things.
Good management team.

Working at Elavon in customer service offers a fast-paced, supportive environment with strong training. Opportunities for growth are present, though the high call volume can be challenging. Great team dynamics!

mANAGERS are puppets for an over controlling and spiteful director. Therefore if they do not like you they will not allow you to move to the sales department where there are more opportunites
