A typical day at work involves coaching your own team, as well as leading group drills and games. The focus of your coaching is bringing energy into the camp to make the campers excited and giving feedback to each player so they can improve their skills. The coaching staff is highly motivated and has strong character, and so working alongside them is a blast. The hardest part of the job is staying energetic throughout the entire day as working with kids for long hours can be draining, but it's all worth it when you see them improve or they tell you that you're their favorite coach.  There are two CEOs that run the camps at two different locations, and I got to work for both. Whereas one of them was extremely warm and friendly, the other one was less genuine, but both were good people and fun to work for.

If you are passionate about the sport of basketball this would be a great place to start. There are a lot of great staff and the work environment is really good. However, if you do not have the patience to work with children or do not like children in general this is not the job for you. The pay is not the greatest at the entry level positions, but the work in enjoyable.

My experience here is an experience I’ll never forget. Training and mentorship is done well that you feel very competent to do your role better than many companies. Culture is collaborative, fun, and very warm and welcoming. You will learn to be who you truly are around the customers and from the support of the organization. 

Elite camps over the years has shown that they don't care for anyone other then there fulltime workers. Everyone not on the fulltime time is second rate compare to there most vavulble full timers. 

It’s a rewarding job by coaching kids and seeing their improvements but the pay is low for what is required and there’s not much opportunity to increase your salary. Also they have a $10 fee that’s deducted from your pay if you are even 1 minute late to work. 

First day working and supervisor and coworkers were very nice and willing to teach me. The training provided by elite camps covered everything i needed to know and benefited me alot.

a basketball infused day filled with skills, games, and activities. Worked with a great team full of energy, passion, and social skills. Playing basketball throughout the day and challenging others and the campers with  friendly competition to improve their overall skills.

A fun place to work for basketball lovers. You are taught not only various basketball skills but also how to teach and pass them on to the younger generation. Whether it’s for the summer or throughout the year, this is the place you want to be.

Great place to gain experince in the basketball industry and great way to make connections and friendships with the staff. Excellent and friendly environment to work in.
