What is the best part of working at the company?
There was opportunity to work in a variety of different roles.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Management would take an excessive amount of time to make a decision. Which would extend the work day well beyond normal. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
I would describe it as toxic positivity. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
The workload can be intense. Operations are run with minimal staff, so when someone it out, the workload heavily increases.

Interesting place to work.  Started up a totally new records department.  Was able to take charge and make the position my own by analyzing the needs of the company.  Records rooms contained highly confidential material, rooms had to be fire proof and temperature and humidity controlled.  Charge of binding and labelling all old records and implementing a recording and tracking system, so at any given time we could find records ASAP.

As long as the market is up  (and the economy is doing well) positions and departments are well supported/funded. 
If the economy is in a slump, cuts come quickly. While you work here, try to get them to pay for additional classes to further you job prospects in the future!
Also, middle management seems to hate their workers/employees. The company really prefers to keep workers on term contracts (1 year at a time).

The best job I've ever had. Work was fun and fast and everyone was willing to learn and teach new techniques. All employees participated in group activities that kept everyone close. I learned how to work in a lab and that communication is the key to successful relationships. Management was great and encouraged group activities. Hardest part of the job was when the company went under and had to leave. The best part of the job was the people.

A good mix of routine and analysis, felt very valued at this company, and like my opinion mattered.
The hardest part was being told we need to work faster but no ideas ever came forward to achieve that goal.  Constantly insisted the level of validation was too much in the accounting department, regardless of a GMP facility with government contracts.

I was only an intern at Emergent Biosolutions, but they offer a diverse and challenging program for students. I highly enjoyed working with the IT department and was provided appropriate knowledge and training during my daily demands. I was also given opportunities to show my initiative by providing ideas on how to streamline processes to get the job done faster. I enjoyed the daily activities as well as the team members I interacted with.

Work is not overly stressful and people are happy to help. Company does organize different social events and promotes positive life work balance. Benefits are fair, pay is great, much better comparing to the rest of places I have been working for. 

Everything here depends on contracts. So many ups and downs with clients and you never know when they will just close the contract you will be left hanging. Lots of lay offs. 
Management care only about the business they do not care about employees.

I loved my work, I honestly would go back if they ever have a remote position open up. 

Everyone there was respectful and kind. It was just the area I had a hard time getting to.

Loved the job, great core values. Great quality control system in place, the top management is very supportive. Expect the same from the managers. 
The co-workers are the best part of the job, management, not so much.
