Most of my time was spent on my computer in my cubical. There were occasional team meetings. 

Microstation. I always manage to learn something about people.

Management was mixed, in competence & in suitability. 

I enjoyed most of the job culture.

The hardest part was knowing that it was just a practicum.

I appreciated that one of the managers was really trying to extend my stay to the point at which the company, by their rules, had to hire me permanently. I learned that I really was enjoying working in Microstation.

Great place to work with fabulous people, but it is a union environment with a different culture than the norm. As I was a contract employee, I wanted to see what the environment was and if I approve. It was not the best, but it was a great place to connect. I did 3 contracts and I have to say 1 of them was the best which was at an outside the main office where the people were much more relaxed and easy to work with.

Great working environment, Top priority is a safe place to work. Always concerned about employee safety and ensuring the lights stay on 365 days a year 24 hours a day. Numerous long time employees with great dedication to City of Calgary.

It was a challenge at times. I did not enjoy driving in traffic and a big truck in tight alleys. The most enjoyable part was not having to work out town and drive for miles. I did not like management as they can be two faced and look for reasons to give time off or terminate employees. Safety department was very good at training and helping with certification.

Very Individually base for advancement with only others looking out for themselves. Enjoyed the role with additional training, the workplace culture was the worst I have ever encountered in some 25 working. Hardest part of the job was wondering who would be sabotaging your work for their advancement. The holiday allowance was the most enjoyable.

I wait for the scripts to come in and bang them out within 24 hours, unless specified as a rush job.
I record and edit all audio and submit the best option to ensure complete satisfaction. 
Working from home is wonderful and allows me to live my life leisurely. I always am available to receive scripts and turn them around quickly.

Strong presence of collaboration and discussion, challenging projects with opportunity to grow.  Projects range in value, complexity and are executed by a diverse resource base, which include unionized and contractor field staff.

You are treated as one of the employees and your input matters. Having been involved with Enmax as either an employee or consultant since 1990 I can say that they value their staff and consultants.

I learned a lot during my time at ENMAX. I moved into different roles and worked with different teams of people, learning more about the industry with each move.

An Excellent company to work for, good opportunity for career advancement.  They value family and work balance and are very understanding of employees personal needs.  They have lots of family events.
