The work hours are flexible at Entera - pending time requirements of the projects you are assigned to. I learned how to perform power distribution design methodology and apply project management framework concurrently. Management is adequate in which they will provide help when you need it. The workplace culture has room for improvement such that there should be more opportunities for team building since everyone is focused on their assigned projects rather than a more collaborative approach. The hardest part of the job is the learning curve to utilize the software given what resources are available. The most enjoyable part of the job is that once you get past the learning curve, you will gain professional design and project management experience which translates to your personal and professional growth.

Overall, I can say that while Entera has room for improvement, it is a solid 8/10. I recommend this place for anyone who’s hungry to learn, grow, and develop a professional mindset.

The lead design manager is a solid 8/10, whom which could be a little nicer, but he means well as he wants his team to strive for a degree of excellence.

The supervisors are a solid 9/10, where they are truly knowledgeable and can help you when you need it. 

There are some really knowledgeable, hardworking people in the field that have been there a long time that are willing to teach if you’re willing to learn. 

The yard staff is relatively coordinated and ready to help.

Safety department was knowledgeable and fair for the most part.

The management consists of people that came directly from the field and their management capabilities demonstrate that. As a new foreman, I was given an entire crew of brand new employees that had no idea how to do the job. I was absolutely hung out to dry by my supervisor and manager. The only thing my supervisor demanded was production. This was a very toxic workplace and I would definitely recommend finding somewhere else to apply.

As a non-unionized warehouse member it was iffy to say the least. However, being on one of the crews there looked ok. Hard and dangerous work but most crews worked as teams and get paid alright, with Fridays off. I, on the other hand, had 4: 11 hour shifts and a half day Friday. Our job wasn't very clear and my supervisor seemed to have it out for the crew members, which made getting them material (my entire purpose there) quite a chore. The crews' and management weren't that bad  (pay was fine too tbh) but the warehouse was a bit neglected.  

My experience at Entera was very helpful in understanding the importance of work ethic and time management.  My daily job requirements were to get to work at 7 am and drive back into the city and inspect city light poles. It allowed me to be more observant to the detail that goes unnoticed to the common eye.  Loved going out on the field and moving around.

The Job is not as easy as it looks. The job is more dangerous than it looks. Don't be stupid and be rewarded, be smart and go home safe. There will be hurdles with every task you are given, but with the right determination and teamwork, you will get it done.

I enjoyed the crew's I worked with aside from foreman and management and supervisors. Everybody in management does not have people skills and play favorites doesn't matter how hard you work

A typical day at work would be 10 hours. You work for 5 days out of the week and it could be 6 depending how much work you have to get done. Also the people they have working there are good.

Amazing company. Great benifts and alot of oppertunity to work as much as you want. Very happy to work at this company. I reccomend for anyone applying
