Great place to work if you like low stress environments.  Unfortunately since it is a public utility company there is not much growth so you will be stuck in your current position for a while if you want to stay in the company.  Management seems nice, if a bit apathetic some times.  Hardest part of the job is filling the slow days with things to do.  Most enjoyable part of the job is not having to stress about anything.

The company provides a good work/life balance with flexible hours if needed.  Management is dedicated to ensuring the citizens of Windsor continue to receive hydro and water services at reasonable rates while improving the infrastructure with continuous investment.

I had amazing co-workers! However the management can be disconnected and reactive. My experience with the company was solitary as I did see people get hired and promoted but I personally did not feel valued. My  connections with co-workers and work ethic was the reason for longevity as a temp.

The pay is ok but it's not worth the stress. The workers are what get you through the day but management is terrible. Micromanagement is rampant and you feel like a child. You'll never get out of the Customer Service role if you apply. They are getting rid of so many jobs and the seniority ladder is difficult to climb. 

Municipal Utility with an excellent staff. Front line staff are mostly unionized. Safety is paramount and taken seriously. Advancement to management positions can be few  as long term employees tend to appointed to these positions.

Enwin Utilities strives to the continuous improvement of its Health and Safety Management system. They support a healthy and active Health and Safety culture and see the value in an industry leading HSMS.

This all depends on what a potential employee is looking for.

Small utility, family's. You know everyone, you're friends with everyone, it's a lot of fun. Engineering staff are all very knowledgable and management is pretty transparent. Municipal politics do get in the way.

Management is great and you learn a lot working here. 

Pay is great

Hours are great 

Company pays for training out/ in town

Company at the end of the day wants you to succeed 

Also a great work life balance

Good training and support from the team. Also provides for opportunities to learn and grow in the workplace.Best part of the job is interacting with variety of customers.
