typical day of work consisted of picking orders for the door as well as attempting to squeeze in as many pre-prep orders as one could manage. it gets hectic and the nature of the game is that people who buy tile and expect to have it placed into their car are the kind of people who expect it to be in the placed into their car as they are purchasing it and get flustered when the process takes time.

this was my first real job so i learned essentially the whole gamut of work culture.

management consisted of one cheery but ultimatly floundering man one extraordinarily hard working but stressed woman and a string of useless people who did not last as well as a domineering presence of the owner of the company.

the hardest part was definitly the physical effort required to perform it. because of how exhausting it was it would exacerbate other issues. an item change is no great hurdle on most stores but for tile the process was back breaking and increasingly frustrating.

the guys you work with were a treat. hard working guys in the back and hard working girls in the front. definitly bad apples in the bunch but i liked the job for the people there more than anything else

I found working at Euro a great experience. Expectations were managed properly and the culture/co-workers/management really helped promote a positive environment. 

Salary was on-par with industry norms and definite potential for growth and increased pay. You get what you put in, as with most employers and effort was rewarded.

I found my experience here rewarding both professionally and personally and was told I'd always be welcome back which is great to hear!

I found management listened to my concerns and took them seriously and they also took the time to explain decisions.

Product selection is second to none and I never had issues selling. Managing client expectations/orders was just part of the job, as with any supplier.


 

The Company manager is disorganized and jumps all over with work orders making your organized orders disorganized.  Everyone is in a panic because orders aren't going out as told to customers.  This is because the manager never lets the order person complete their tasks.  They tell you what a great job you are doing and tell you they are hiring someone to help out but in the meantime, you are training this person to do your job for less pay.  They let you go instead of rewarding someone.
Horrible and disorganized workplace and always have customers waiting days after the promised delivery date.  

What is the best part of working at the company?
There was not a single best part. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Pay is not enough compared to the work that we do. While hiring company portrays big growth dreams but you are just stuck in a endless cycle to meet your goals.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Some people are really good at what they do, but majority of the people are total worthless

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Very busy schedule everyday since morning. Even if there is no customers managers make sure that every single particle of dust should be cleaned.

You will be overworked and underpaid.  The pay is only decent if you do a ton of hours in a typical week.  The owner thinks he knows everything and isn't open to any suggestions for improving the warehouse.  
The warehouse is too small and there is constantly new products coming in with nowhere to store them.   
High turnover rate and they will push you to do more and more without compensation or appreciation. 
One guy I worked with had been there for 5 years with no raise. 
Basically avoid this place like the plague. 

Toronto location is a comedy of errors. From slim inventory in Toronto, to the lack of a local delivery truck, to the inability of inexperienced managers to take employee suggestions seriously. 
All costs of doing business are completely passed onto their clients. Whatever small GTA accounts actually produce sales are hoarded by management. Very unprofessional work experience. Out of their league

I worked there for a short period of time. I left because the pay was terrible for the amount of work we Sales Reps were expected to do.
Management was poor.
If I were the owners I'd open my eyes and ears and listen to your staff...id also start meeting with them monthly to see what can be done to improve morals and the work environment.

The people who work here are nice but there isn’t much room for advancement. They do not give raises as time passes. They also throw industry events in the evening hours and tell you it is mandatory to attend but do not pay for your time. 

The showroom is beautiful, there is free coffee and over all nice environment. There is weird competition between sales staff which I think is a problem. Everyone who walks in is “someone else’s client”. 

It is a great environment. Everyone is very welcoming to new people. It is a very busy business, always a lot to do. Can take a few days to get used to so much activity. Although it can be busy, everyone seems to be working together and trying to help. Management seems very encouraging and supportive.

Training is rushed, after onboarding there’s no follow up training, basically left to your own devices. Feedback is harsh and not constructive. Expectations are high but support is little to none, basically setup to fail.
Managers have little to no training and no business running a company - typical of family owned operations. 
Overall would not recommend as an employer unless you have a background in the tile industry.
