Typical day 7-3
Learned many transferable skills during my years including administration, logistics, shipping and receiving, building customer rapport and team work.  I also managed the office.  All paperwork, purchase orders and monthly and yearly re-caps as well as managed and balance monthly petty cash for all staff.  I enjoyed working under stress in this fast paced environment.  In my time there I ran a fleet of trucks to and from Canada and the USA and scheduled local service appointments on product building relationships with those under my supervision as well as many co-workers within the company.

Upper management actively dislikes you and is pretty much a text book example
of why there are laws for things.

The union is pretty much useless but i can't imagine how much worse Euroline
would be if there wasn't one.

The ads say lift up to 50 lbs because that is the most that one person is supposed 
to lift by themselves according to BC labour law, in shipping though, it would
be very common that the small windows weigh 75-100 lbs and you would move
those solo, and the big windows can easily reach 600+lbs and you might have
4 or if you're lucky 5 people moving it, and management won't do anything about it.

They have a very poor culture   and they provide zero training for new employees. They know NOTHING about new method of management and they are so rude with new hires. bunch of old- Fashioned style people get together with knowledge from almost 80 years ago, and they think they can run a business. They do not support new employees at all and new employees should learn everything themselves.  They always insult employees and it is a horrible place to stay. people better try hard to get another job somewhere else. The managers even do not give the WIFI password to new hires. Working there is a good way of wasting your precious time.

I really am enjoying my job here at Euroline Windows. There has been some restructuring and new ownership since many of these awful reviews on here.

I find my managers to be very easy going and understanding of life events.

They are understanding of the learning curve and fatigue of a new job.

Human resources are always there for you and willing to help. They also provide candy in the office.

Overall a fun and enjoyable, relaxed environment.

The manufacturing company has good products but have many old timers that still have not caught up with technology nor the newer style of management. The company survives on using Asian workers in manufacturing who will work hard without much of a pay increase. Management lacks vision and has a negative style of management if you are looking to advance your career. Not recommended for career development unless the management changes or the company is sold.

Below sub par pay if you they'll max you out at 25$ after 2-3 years. I cannot stress this enough they are unbelievably cheap they are a union but agree to a terrible long term contract they refuse to pay their workers a liveable wage especially in a city as expensive as Vancouver. I do not recommend this place unless you are desperate! If your not keep looking don't give this company your time of day you'll thank me later. 

Just another seat on the bus.  The bus stops frequently with employees coming and going.

Lack of proper training and advancement.

Only consider working at Euroline for brief experience if you cannot find anything else as there will always be something better.

Company is controlled by an equity group that puts little money into growing the business as promises of new equipment are never fulfilled.



 
 

Great experience working for Euroline Windows.  The management is very supportive.  I feel like a valuable part of the team.  Even when mistakes are made the management is supportive and stands behind their employees.  Management is supportive when "life" happens and a doctor appointment, vet appointment, family emergency, car mechanic appointment etc. comes up.  Person is put first.  

I liked my job but I did not like the people I worked for. I had to go on worksafe because of a shoulder injury, A torn rotater cuff, and in the end they ended up laying me off. it was physically, verbally and medically proven that the injury happened while I was employed through them and they lied to worksafe several times and treated me poorly after I file a claim.

The work environments needs a vast improvement. Management is POOR and lacks any management skills. Old timers still working there and have no understanding of team building, motivation or career development. Production employees are all immigrants and therefore have no rights and are forced to work with unskilled teams. The union is totally useless
