I have a unique perspective on working for this company, and here's why - I already worked for them a few years ago, and I quit. Now I'm back. Here's the story:

I quit because I didn't like the direction the company was going - a new business partner (investor) got on board and high-pressure sales became the priority, rather than the well-being of our clients and their results. That didn't jive with me. Some staff were treated with the old-school "fear & intimidation" management style. That also didn't jive with me. So I got out.

A year or so ago, that business partner was removed from the picture and Ewyn Studios is now owned by the original partner, who has ensured the company's values align with the values he had when he started his business in the first place. 

Recently, I was approached to come back to the table, and I took a chance - I'm so glad I did. I can't stress how impressed I am with the way Ewyn has turned into an ethical company with a fantastic culture. From the corporate level, there is a constant, tireless effort to improve all aspects of the business - from developing more specialized training for staff, implementing incentive programs and providing more/better support for all franchisees & their staff, to improving/developing superior products & programs. Everyone at the table has a voice, and everyone is heard. Clients are getting better and better results, ground-level staff are happier, and franchises are thriving.

Every day at Ewyn is full of ideas, innovation, inspiration, and lots of laughs. I actually look forward to coming to work each day which is an incredible gift, but I'm also afforded the ability to 'switch off' at the end of the work day. The balance is wonderful.

I strongly recommend giving this company a shot if you are considering working for Ewyn. 

If you want to be a health coach, know that it is incredibly rewarding but not for the faint of heart, as coaching someone through a weight loss journey is full of ups and downs and requires strength, compassion, and determination. 

If you want to own a franchise, you can look forward to an incredible support system from the corporate staff - with studio supervisors, marketing & media, ongoing training, you name it. 

If you are considering a position at the corporate headquarters, you'll be a part of the most wonderful group of colleagues & friends and you'll enjoy every day. It is both challenging and rewarding.

A typical day involves coaching weight loss clients, answering inquiries, consults, light cleaning. Pleasant workplace, upbeat and the manager is patient and accommodating. I feel this company is quite ethical and cares about the clients. There is a fair bit to leaning the "Ewyn way", but you are given time and all training is provided. We are encouraged to maintain an "upbeat" atmosphere in the studio, and to treat each client as an individual with the way we coach them.  I like celebrating "milestone" weight losses with the clients and knowing that their health and life are improving. With my background in health care, I have seen obesity is one of our most pressing health challenges  and Ewyn provides an answer in a good program for weight loss..

As a health coach, I make a difference in peoples lives everyday. Having a background in health and fitness, this is the place I feel I am needed most and the company that supports my philosophy. I coach clients to be successful in their lifestyle changes and am provided with all the tools I need. The company offers great training and support and there is room for advancement. The one aspect I do love is the open door policy and that your ideas are never unheard. The frequent discussions with corporate office and regular weekly communications makes me feel like part of a growing team. This is a place where we change lives, create a healthier society and our rewards come in the form of smiles and hugs and tears. 
I cant say enough positive things about this company. I am very fortunate to be part of the Ewyn team and the motivating and encouraging atmosphere is where a real career begins.

Great company to work for in my opinion, lots of room to move up if you want to, i now own my own studio. I love the support that is provided on a daily basis and find that after working for other weight loss company's they truly care about the employees and the clients. No pressure sales and it is based on going above and beyond for each client. I love the nutritional supplements, as again from previous experience, they are designed to help give you the support you are not getting from your diet, not just give you energy. Weight loss is not for everyone but if you want a career where you are helping people every day and want something you can potentially own then you should give Ewyn a try! I am sure glad i did!

The company forces you to follow their program regardless of size or weight-loss goals.This helps ensure more product sales. Its mainly a sales job forcing people to buy more and more product. If your location doesn't have many active clients get ready for long boring uneventful days. It quickly starts to feel like you are taking advantage of people more than helping them to sell product. Training is just watching a bunch of videos on how to sell more products promising people results as you add more and more to the regimine. Management is not very professional, have to hunt them down for pay etc. You'll be sent home at random times depending if management wants to work or not.

Good program but very shady practices by the young female Owner who took over mid march 2019. Laid Myself and coworker off over text with no notice. Lied continuously to staff about numerous things. High pressure to sell optional products to clients who did not want or need or in some cases afford. Would try to deny refunds when within 10 day of signing. Wouldn’t buy stock and tell staff to run from one location to another to pick up. Or would tell us to Presley whey powder. Offer prizes formcontests then make client wait 2 full months to receive. Big
On promises but doesn’t t deliver. Very poorly run location and just concerned woth selling extra products to clients every visist

During my tenure at Ewyn there was a lot of challenges that a rose since you are working with People who are seeking to lose weight.  You become their support system and personal cheerleader.   Initial training is well done, by the corporate team.  
You need to be a self starter and self disciplined to succeed here as there is a lot of self development to be able to do this job effectively.  65% of the day is face to face with clients and helping them make the correct decisions so they can succeed on their weight loss journey.
Materials are provided to help make you successful.
Personally, if my life wasn’t falling apart I would still love to be apart of the team.

Typical day at work would consist of seeing clients and helping them reach there weight loss goals.
Since starting in this job I have learned so much about health and fitness, head office training is amazing and super easy to follow.
I have never had a job where I actually enjoy coming into work, seeing your clients becomes a normal and exciting part of your life.
The best part of the job is being there with your clients and seeing the changes as they get closer to there goals.



These negative reviews are not my experience, loved working there and yes the cost are a little different for every program because everyone is different. It does depend on how much weight you need to lose. Anyway I enjoyed my time there, enjoyed seeing the clients lose as quick as they did. I guess when you only work at a place for a couple weeks and the studio is brand new, it’s not as busy as it is 3 or 4 months later.

I love working for Donna Lynn at the Ewyn Studio in Owen Sound. This is definitely "Exactly What You Need.!" The rewards are daily helping clients succeed in their weight loss journey. The most enjoyable part of the job is the stress free environment, having fun with the clients and team. All studios and head office are 100% supportive with calls, questions, etc. 
Training is provided on a daily basis. We are set for success here and, I have learned as my clients succeed on their journey, so do I !!
