Exhibition

A typical day at the exhibition would be a hectic 10 to 12 hour shift considering it was only seasonal. It was pretty hectic working at a clothing store. The amount of customers and the mess we had to deal with at the end of the day was stressful. However, I learned quite a bit from this short experience. This was the initial job where I began to learn how to handle working in a fast-paced environment. I gained knowledge of customer satisfaction and how to be patient when times get busy. I enjoyed making friends with all of my coworkers who were from different parts of Ontario. The management was always busy dealing with their own situations so it was a little difficult getting in touch with them. The hours were long, but the end experience was worth it.

Busy, messy, unorganized. Management was very money thirsty. They had no real regard for your personal time or life. They didn't care about your safety or well-being much, and would often get overly mad when things weren't going perfectly. Coworkers that are carnival travelers had a bad habit of stealing your belongings in the trailers. All in all, it's fun because it's at a carnival and it's only temporary. Your breaks are fun because you get to casually relax at the CNE. However, it wasn't great pay and management were very aloof.

When I worked at the Exhibition I would sit in the ticket both for 8 hours or more. I learned to do mental math because we had to use a calculate to know how much to give to costumers and what not. They were alright unfair. I only talked to who ever was in my booth day by day as I worked with. Sitting in the booth for hours and couldn't us the washroom unless someone came to check up on us or if I had break which they were never on time.

overall I would not recommend working at the ex. With my experience, all I would do is pick up garbage all day and it was the most boring and awful job I've ever had. 99% of the people I worked with were not friendly and made the job worse as I had no one to talk to. There really isnt any perks to this job, would highly suggest anything else.

I would strongly recommend working for this company. They are a great company to work for they treat their employees like real people and make you feel like part of a family rather then a job. If you are looking for a company that values their employees this is the job for you the manager is amazing and will always help you reach your goals and challenge you to do new things. 

I love to work and i'm a hard worker and I need a job to help me out with my kids and my family need your help to find me a great job that will help me and my family for this Christmas time I love to work and and fun when I'm working with people and groups and by myself

Very busy workplace but long hours in the hot sun. It didn't have good pay and had to wait weeks after the exhibition was over. Only worked there because family member did as well.

Exhibition was an Amazing work experience it thought me to do lots of new thing's in the summer. I loved working there. My manager was sweet and kind. I loved working there over the summer!

the workplace was very fun to work at. Great manager great co-workers was very fun as a summer job. Would recommend for any student looking for a summer job before school starts back up.
