Exkor Manufacturing is an auto engine parts plant. I worked there as general labour and as a parts inspector- line work. Plenty of work hours, especially during an up-season. Good group of people to work with.

Here I was able to do a variety of jobs that involved the use of physical strength. I worked independently but also was able to learn how to work as a group to complete a task. I was open to working in whatever area of the factory I had to, which provided many benefits such as experience around machinery and a factory, as well as the structure of a full time job.

I worked there as general laborer and as a parts inspector. employees are nice to work with and helpful. I learn various things and also got a chance to gain experience from employees.
the most impressive thing is you can play table tennis in your break.

I was only there as a temp so, my review may not be enough to describe what it's like there. During my time there, I felt it was a good place to work. The way they trained you was clear and safe, it was safe, friendly and offered benefits if you were hired full time.

this is the worst place to work. They hire temp worker with no intention on hiring them.My understanding of temp is 60 to 90 days not years. This is the greed of the corporation and this is the Linamar 
way. They have plant in Guelph Ontario which employ nothing but temps. Ontario Gov approved

The workplace culture at the time was respectful with the prospects of opportunities to grow and learn with the company.  Managers and Supervisors were communicative as well as open to suggestions and ideas.

Decent people to work with, repettetive production work. Not too stressful. Ok for a temporary place to work or stay for possible advancement. Benefits available with seniority

A little warm in the summer months but close to home and a good place to home your robot skills. Everyone works together to complete the production for the day.

Overall Exkor is a great place to work. The pay scale is confusing and pretty unfair it seems but its more than minimum wage so thats always a plus. The managements communication is terrible.
