What is the best part of working at the company?
Fun and supportive coworkers. Loads of benefits like dental and free glasses and great staff discounts. Many incentives when you sell well. Very chill and relaxed environment where you have freedom to express yourself. Pay is well above market in the same industry. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Trying to figure out what to snack on next when there's so many food options around especially kernels. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Positive, fun and supportive with work school life balance.  They will let you take time off to let you focus on your studies.  

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Consits of sitting alot and on the computer and screen time. Minimal physical exertion required.

An upscale store with poor management. Always walking on eggshells, unfair treatment between employess, and too many promises not kept by the company. The co-workers were for the most part somewhat pleasant. The hardest part of the day was dealing with the manager not knowing when she was going to let you go. The most enjoyable part of the job was satisfiying customers with a pair of glasses that suited their needs and being a top seller for the company at the same time!

Is a beautiful high end place to work at, amazing product, and staff usually.

Can get 3 days off a week if willing to work 11 hour days.
Learned a lot of behind the optical front with lens manufacturers and frame manufacturers.
Hardest part is the weekend and holidays you have to work.
The culture is very wide, they hire every culture.
I enjoy the product, and a lot of the customers, and the staff.

I don’t recommend this company. it was a mistake working in this place for long time.
poor management, no HR ,no regional manager and Low paid ,CEO don’t have any control on managers ., The important goal is cleaning the store when CEO present.  there is no appreciation for professional staff , be careful about  your license .no professional one stick with them .

Paid is below average. Co workers are mostly nice. However, high learning curve and confusing upper management from BC, Canada causes trouble for employees. They have no clues on what to do and only expect higher numbers out of nowhere. CEO can't handle optical industry.

Use to be nice until new CE in place

Eystar optical is not a good place to work for. They offer under paid from beginning and saying they will review or raise after probation. It never happen . They don't have a proper HR department to help staffs.lack of training for employee. They said good commission rate but sale goal was set up very high which  u can never achieve it.

I had a great experience working for Eyestar. I know some people who worked at other stores had mixed feelings. The newer management is great and they have a very good support system. Worked with some very great coworkers!

Slow and steady days for the most part. Can get busy during holiday times but it's not bad considering the team is very collaborative. The hardest part of the job is dealing with customers' concerns.

The team is great to work for, I felt like I was part of a family. they are very encouraging and provide resources and help. management at Eyestar of top quality, he was always looking after us and worked around our needs

Straightforward simple training allows you to develop yourself as a sales person and condition yourself to become better at sales also
