Responsibility include leading, researching, analyzing and defining conceptual reference architecture model for Enterprise Systems, maintaining healthy stakeholders relationships, identifying and addressing technical impediments that threatens implementation timelines and progress leading to increase cost in implementation. Common tasks include: documenting application architectures, making technology recommendations and supporting the implementation team throughout various corporate programs and projects initiatives.

Areas of accountabilities include supporting the implementation team in order to ensure projects is delivered on time and on budget while carefully assessing corporate constraint and ensure successful solution delivery.  Tasks include representing various viewpoints, addressing concerns,  achieving alignment on technical direction. Artifacts produced include: scenario modeling, MS Visio diagrams addressing stakeholder's concerns, Business Strategy Document, Technical Vision, Business Requirements, Technical System Design, Reference Model Architecture, Test Plans, RFP document, SOW document, project plans, cost estimates and analysis, and regular progress status updates to stakeholders: project sponsor, project manager and senior management.

All architectural direction and recommendation is based on solid facts, research studies following “Industry Best Practices” as supported by reputable researching entities such as “Forrester” and “Gartner”. Other functions include supporting established partnerships with numerous committed partners both internally and externally with the single objective of achieving a seamless and unified implementation project plan. Research, expertise, skill set, lessons learned and experience guides the implementation team.

The senior solution architect also acts as an escalation point for the implementation team when technical and political issues arises. A prompt and effective communication skills along with quick problem solving skills is required to ensure minimal downstream impact in project delivery. A solid rapport with stakeholders abroad is essential.

Other duties consist of working tightly with various business stakeholders abroad including: the enterprise portfolio team, the vendor management team, the solution team, the enterprise data team, the enterprise security team, the infrastructure team and also various other internal technical “Product” team and various outsource partners.

Finally, the solution architect is responsible in guiding a “Minimum Viable Product” (MVP) solution by way of defining project principles, standards and patterns to in order to meet corporate strategic objectives while keeping a keen focus on continuous evolving business' requirements and company limited resources.

Hybrid work from home 3 days a week.  Allot of meetings.  Manger hired outside the company and constantly team messaging.  The manager makes environment very uncomfortable and toxic. Constantly yelling and demanding.  Was hired outside the company and does not follow culture.

Keep your mouth shut and eyes open or they will end your term or find a way to get rid of you.

Initial manager was great. Current, manager hired from outside company will drive me to leave.  Please don’t leave jobs, they leave managers.  Beware!

I like the new CEO.  Culture isn’t what it used to be.  Allot of people thrown under the bus.

Poor training and dealing with a manager recently hired outside of the company and doesn’t know the culture or how to deal with people.

The extra week of vacay and working from home.  


For a Crown Corporation, the government must be ashamed of themselves for running a company led by ill informed executive leaders and promoting men to managers purely as they are mobile who have zero leadership skills.  Their inability to be leaders, lead to overcompensating for being so poor at their jobs with narcissistic micromanagement tendencies and consistent verbal abuse.   Your work life balance will be thrown out the window even with the lure of CDO’s that you cannot take due to being overloaded.  Although the benefits are great, you won’t have them when you make the best decision of your life to leave to pay for your therapy every employee requires to recover from the toxic experience.  FCC was once great but has forgotten what their strengths were and appreciation of the staff.  Save yourself and work anywhere else but FCC

Assisted Senior Relationship Manager and Senior Loans Analyst with a portfolio of over 100 high-value commercial clients, including business executives and entrepreneurs, by building mutually beneficial relationships and providing solutions to their specific needs that resulted in an exemplary customer experience. 

Marketed a full range of services and credit products to existing client base; developed new clients through referrals and networking; assisting with credit analysis.

Prepared supplementary real property mortgage and personal property loan documentation and provided follow-up administration to ensure ongoing compliance and reduced audit irregularities; 

Communicated with solicitors and accountants and ensuring file documentation was completed per policy requirements.

Over the past couple years this company has changed drastically. 
The culture has become terrible and it comes from the top down. 
Leadership has made it clear that everyone is replaceable.
Turnover, especially in the field offices is extremely high. 
Micromanagement has become a big problem. The number of unnecessary meetings is getting out of hand. Management continues to add on more asks and more tasks. Too many managers and not enough field staff. Workloads are unreasonable and unsustainable. Processes have become inefficient and cumbersome. 
Lots of burn-out and high levels of stress. 
I wouldn’t recommend working here right now.

Learned new software's such as Basis, Boss, Peoplesoft, Jet and Mainstream - how to work with classified documents and also how to communicate with different field offices on different areas.

Great team always there to help you with a smile.  I loved this position as it grew more and more into a career. 

This company always has room for advancement; as the agriculture is always improving. 

Lots of networking and training.

I was very sad to leave this position as we were moving in the West of Canada.

If I could go back in time, I’d not even consider applying for a job at this company.

They make you feel like you’ve landed in paradise for the first few weeks, but you’ll quickly realize that it’s the opposite. Workload is unbearable. Toxic culture and micromanagement is at another level, high level of favouritism. Unrealistic goals, and clear preferential treatment given to friends and relatives of management.

Do yourself a favour and look for a job elsewhere.

Target oriented with specified tasks. Clearly defined objectives that are timed and keeps you motivated. I learned managing time and tasks, multi-tasking, maintaining a positive work attitude. Extremely professional management with great learning opportunities. Extremely helpful co-workers and sharing knowledge is common practice. The company is evolving continuously therefore the need to be agile and accept change easily. The change keeps you motivated and challenged.

Getting to know the farmers and seeing their passion for agriculture.

Too many policy changes and workload.
