Absolutely sad how disorganized this company is. A joke to work for in the mining field. Zero stars do not suggest for anyone. 

They have continued to make errors on paychecks, you need to watch your houes like a hawk. They will try and screw you. They change the schedule almost weekly so don't make any plans either while your checks are half the size you expect them to be. 

What is the best part of working at the company?
Lots of opportunities on surface and underground

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
I didnt have any stressful situations 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
It was good I liked the guys I was working with and for.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Long 12 hours days depending on what I was doing.

Overall enjoy working here - the work is always changing so you don't get bored but lack of respect from upper management or people who think just because they have a form of "power" that their opinion is the greatest of all. They ask for your opinion but don't actually utilize it for anything. Overall, the people are good though, decent benefits, basic RRSP matching. 

a typical day for me was to assist the miners with their day to day work.  which included fabricating jigs, sheaves and misc items.
i learned alot about what happens in mines.  For the most part all the the employees were really good guys and willing to help you so long as you ask.

Safety culture is setting us back 20 years. 
Don't speak up, if you do your laid off or fired. 
Couldn't trust your Forman or safety to find alternative ways to work safely. Lack of experience and credencials.

They work closely with mines and have interesting projects and have some what good manufacturing facility. People are good and always helpful. Job may or may not be secured depending on the performance of you and the company itself.

The people I work with make the job enjoyable. Everyone puts their noses to the grind and gets their jobs done and somehow at the same time we all have a lot of fun together. I wish the project was going to last longer as I will miss everyone here.

Advanced my knowledge of the mining industry. 
Working in a shaft in cigar lake, was a great learning experience and the crew I working with were very supportive of each other.

Mine manager is great, green coveralls nice. Green hard hat good. Mucker boots yellow. Have to charge your own cap lamp or else it gets dark. Bathrooms underground stinky

Good to work with in all aspects. Staff, workmates & managers excellent. 
Can’t say much else except I was looked after in all aspects of work life.
Good company.
