The work environment at Gincor is dynamic and collaborative. Having worked in various departments, I've made great connections, and the supportive culture fosters both personal and professional growth.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
A typical day for me at Gincor involves managing regional parts sales in the parts department. It’s a relaxed day with minimal stress, and I’ve become quite adept at my role. The supportive environment and continuous learning opportunities have allowed me to excel and contribute effectively.

If you’re considering working here, be prepared for constant micro-management. There are meetings about meetings, and every decision—no matter how small—needs approval or comes with someone questioning it. You never actually get to do your job without someone watching over every step.

The GM takes full credit when something goes right, but the second anything goes wrong, he’s the first to throw anyone and everyone under the bus. Accountability doesn’t exist at the leadership level.

On top of that, the company structure is… interesting. The CEO’s son runs sales (that should tell you enough), and the rest of the business is controlled by another family group—seemingly every relative under the sun has a position. The problem is none of them truly understand distribution, and it shows. Customers and employees are leaving for competitors on what feels like a weekly basis.

There are good people here at the ground level, but the culture from the top makes it almost impossible for them to succeed.

The wages are not enough to live off of and you will always be a number  and  and to top it off there is no training at all I’m newer to the trade they did no training never even gave me any help with what I was doing wrong would tell me I’m doing great and next thing let go  you can not make management happy as I heard from most of the employees also I would have to say everyone that is there is basically been there under a year and are all looking for new work as they stay super stressful and unhappy place to work worst it’s not anything you can really take to another job  so if you wanna be heavy duty tech this is definitely not the place for you if you wanna go to work and not stress or worry about your job everyday  then don’t go here I was on the welding team and I got to talk to all welders and techs they all say the same thing also look at the numbers worst turn over rate for companies 

A top down , toxic , venal and combative work environment with low wages, especially in production and some potentially sketchy environmental practices...Inter-departmental rivalries and fingerpointing are the norm .Promises have been made and broken so many times , that very few there now will ever trust what comes out of upper managements and corporate's mouth...Entry level people would also be well advised to simply show up , shut up and do EXACTLY as you're told because if you don't "fit in" to the club you should expect to , (with little or no explanation) be cleaved from the herd. Work hard , tread lightly and never forget "opinions' are a dangerous thing here.

Demand from vendors for refurbishing has to be done in scheduled time or within the labor cost, which is understandable but overall conditions of their old trucks are never same, some requires significantly more work than other.

Work environment and most people are friendly.

Just a normal working day at shop

I left this company due to a very specific personal issue, but I would still recommend it, especially for those looking to gain good experience. For some positions, they hire without requiring relevant experience and provide proper training, which is a great opportunity for newcomers.

The management, particularly the plant manager and supervisors, are very supportive of hardworking individuals and new employees. I’ve seen complaints from others, but personally, I never noticed any major problems.

the company needs to work on offering better pay if they want to retain employees for the long term.

Ask yourself if you’re looking for a place with favouritism and vindictive management this is the place for you. Your work isn’t appreciated your ideas aren’t heard. You’re a number not a person. Has to be one of the worst places I’ve ever worked. Need to hire people (managers) who know the business and the industry not some dummy who’s good at brown nosing . They like to Spend money in the wrong places poor employee training. Un maintained plant equipment.  and did I mention favouritism? Beware working for gincor you’ll it will make you hate the industry!! 

fired a supervisor who cared about us and what we were doing, put bigfoot in place, 
get treated like a second class citizen. mandatory overtime because management cant organize properly. other supervisors spend too much time on their phone.
won "great place to work" but its far from it. safety is no concern, 
if you want to be treated like a number this is the place for you,

Office staff don’t know what their doing and they make there mistakes yours and your problem to fix!

They say we’re all a family but they don’t treat you like it!

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Very Frustrating!! Just want to leave as soon as you get there.

Gincor has a work environment that bridges the gap between admin and manufacturing.  
From the first day I started work it felt extremely welcoming.  The Operations manger thanks every employee on Friday was they leave the plant, if for some reason he is not able to be there he has a manger there in his place.
