GS Construction is a great company to work for. Competitive wages, great benefits, a positive work environment, and a healthy concern for safety are all factors to this. I learn new things about underground infrastructure every day, and my superiors / co-workers are genuinely happy to teach me. The workforce is a diverse one that brings many different ideas and aspects to the table. Everybody's input is requested and treated with value. The worst part of the job can also be the most beneficial in my opinion. We work long hours in the summer months, but this makes for excellent pay checks, and the financial ability to take winter off, as this is seasonal work for most of the employees.

Gs is a very professional but still a family orientated company and with the growth over the last 10-15 years they make sure great relationships with employee’s and others are always being met & maintaining their Gs values. With Gs you’re not a number you are a respected as a employee and that starts from the top all the way down. They take pride in maintaining the Gs culture & always open to hearing new ways of doing things to make the company successful for the future. Very well managed company with a great bunch of people. 

Since starting with GS Construction I have been very impressed by the atmosphere they create in their workplace.
The company is very positive, with good morals, and an overall impressive culture. 
They check all the boxes for me, from a healthy work life balance, to a competitive salary, job advancement opportunities, effective, personable, and respected management, and a great culture. 
I would not hesitate to recommend them and feel fortunate to have come across their company.

Gs construction is a growing company that is standing up to remove the old ways of construction. They promote people from within and care more about the promising moral in a crew more than experience. There is an smooth understanding that safety is the future of this industry and that safety and productivity go hand in hand. Like any construction company there is long hours and hard work but gs construction stands out in a good way. 

I have enjoyed my time and learned a lot of important skills while working at GS Construction. Every company claims to take pride in the safety of their employees but GS actually operates on the principle of a safety first environment. While most if not all civil construction work is seasonal GS keeps employees working for the vast majority of the year whenever possible. 

Coming from a different company doing the same line of work I couldn’t believe the difference in work culture. Right from the president down through the ranks just an awesome group of guys to work with. Home/ work life balance is excellent and you don’t have to go to work every day wondering who’s going to try and throw you under the bus today. There’s no micro managing and they understand if you need something for a job you get it

Show up to work, manage your own time and hit your targets. If you're being successful and responsible you will be given as much leash as you wish. Work with many like minded individuals who are passionate about growing this great company. Management if there as a sounding board and a resource. Earn their respect and trust and the sky is the limit. 

This company has no care for the employees that work for them..
You can be suffering from mental health issues or dealing with family matters and they will tell you to show up for work and deal with it on your own time cause it's only a shortened season and they need to get as much work done as possible to please their clients..


GS has a positive and strong culture that starts from the top. Every employee is treated as an individual and a valued worker. The managers listen to the employees, and they improve the quality of work for everyone each year (and during the year). These people inspire and motivate each day! Thank you, GS Construction!

Great company with endless opportunities. They treat employees with respect and as a family. This company has a great culture and nobody is too stuck up or in a position where they won't joke around. Tonnes of work and still growing. Can't think of a better company to work with.
