Go Sales

GoSales was my first job in Canada, and unfortunately, it left me with a very disappointing impression. On my first shift, I was shadowed by a couple—one male and one female—who appeared to be in a relationship. Throughout the day, they were both on their phones while supposedly shadowing me. As a new employee, I assumed this was acceptable behavior and briefly checked mine as well.

To my surprise, one of them reported me for using my phone. Without any warning or proper conversation, I was abruptly asked to hand in my badge and leave. I was deeply hurt by how quickly they dismissed me, especially considering it was my very first shift.

Beyond that, the company culture felt cold and unwelcoming. As a new worker, I felt excluded and ignored. There was little effort to include newcomers in conversations or team dynamics. It was a very cliquey environment that made me feel isolated.

Based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend applying to GoSales.

During my time at Go Sales, I gained valuable experience in direct sales, customer engagement, and business development. My role required me to interact with a wide range of customers daily, effectively presenting products and services while tailoring solutions to meet individual needs. I learned to build strong rapport quickly, handle objections with professionalism, and close sales in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

I worked in Sales, selling telecommunications services/products door to door for Telus through GoSales. My team lead was excellent, the work culture was great, and the commission was good. There are, however, rough times of the year when sales start to slow down. 

Very friendly environment..Commision based sales . They have call centre and Door to Door as well . Commissions are good and it is entirely commission based sales job in telecom .

A lot of the leaders there are just wasting your time there not really there to support you or give you anything positive to your sales career, as I said in the beginning waste of time!!!!

Horrible as it should be . Can’t teach properly and will give you false dreams as well . Don’t ever fell for it . The training is super basic and mangers only car about their money not your success 

Pretty cool job with a lot of potential, I would recommend the opportunity to those who are  looking to grow and also have a drive in them to do better.
