The company prioritizes money and profit over people and their health. Many hard working employees are underpaid and are promised compensation and never get it, while lazy employees that stand around and do nothing with little to no experience are paid generously. Company wants to work you till you're sick and management is EXTREMELY disorganized and unprofessional with employees. The organization is greedy and cuts corners to save money and the equipment never works. If you're a landscaper with self-respect, STAY AWAY and find a company that's actually well established. If you want a short term job and get paid well for doing nothing, come on in. Most employees at greenworks have little to no knowledge on proper landscaping practices. Extremely shady company overall and only cares about making profit. They do not care for their employees at all.

Management is extremely disorganized and gives you absolute BS work that is either inefficient or risky to your health and safety. Management does not care about employees and will treat you like robots, get upset and throw tantrums when you cant fulfill their extremely unreasonable and unsafe tasks within a short period of time. Wages are good in comparison to competitors, but getting raise is almost impossible. Management is immature and often gossips and stir the pot -- for a landscaping company there is more unnesecary drama than needed. Workplace boundaries between management and employees are poorly enforced; managers noticeably impede professional boundaries with employees, leading to questionably inappropriate misconduct, creating a tense atmosphere. Management is petty and will go out of their way to make your work difficult if they dislike you for whatever reason.

This company offers higher wages than its competitors. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Incredibly long hours with little to no appreciation from upper management. No respect for one’s personal life. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Mostly respectful. As much as you would expect from a construction or landscape company. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Very long hours without knowing when you will be off work. Hard labour. Lack of understanding from the upper management on deadlines.

Half the workload of other companies I've worked for, for the same pay.

Others are jealous of your position, and are constantly trying to take your job from you through management manipulation. Lies.

Friendly at first, but No One is your friend there, especially management.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Moderately hectic. Load/unload equipment at begging, and end of day, while babysitting a crew that doesn't want to do their job.

The best part of working at that company is when a person is on their way out the door and on to the next opportunity.

Working at that company is the most stressful part of working there.

People are overworked and underpaid. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Never knowing what's going to happen next.

This landscaper laborer's performance was consistently poor, marked by frequent lateness, lack of attention to detail, and ineffective communication. However, what made the experience even more unpleasant was the rude and disrespectful behavior exhibited by management. Their lack of manners created a toxic work environment, making it challenging to perform tasks efficiently. Overall, I cannot recommend this laborer due to their subpar performance and the negative influence of management's behavior.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Great company, management and the crew there are 10/10! Pay is fair and the hours are there if you want to work. Have fun at work and get paid can’t ask for more then that!

Plowing snow and salting as needed.

The experience I got from Green Works truly set me up for the my long-term career. This is a great atmosphere to learn and grow. 

My co-workers were great to work with on a daily basis. We had a lot of fun while doing good work. 

Kellaway, the owner and CEO is the heart and soul of Green Works.  Working with him taught me to never be happy with just an "OK" job. He expects the best work you can give him and I have nothing but respect for that.

Working there was nothing but enjoyable.

Work is easy and straightforward. I’ve learnt a lot overtime working here. It’s a great place to work for, and if you work good, it opens opportunities 

I really enjoyed working for Green Works and if I hadn’t had to relocate, I would have seen myself working for this company for a long time. The work can be hard but the collaborative atmosphere makes it enjoyable. With a willingness to learn, and hard work ethic this place really has a lot to teach you and the people there are really what makes this place great.
