H&G Powder Painting

When I first started at H&G I advanced pretty quick, then switched to days and that's where the advancement stopped actually degressed down to  an off loader, back up lead off loader, and floater. I could out work alot of the young guys there lol
The benefits we received were fine, seeing as we didn't pay into our benefits.
I didn't get a substantial raise until just before I quit, for personal reasons. I did a lot of jobs by myself that took 2-3 people to do.  I am happy for my ex co-workers that they have the management back they had for the first 9 years I worked at H&G
The person that took over from a 2021- just recently, almost ran this company to the ground in a short period of time.   

I enjoyed working with most the people at H&G. I enjoyed the work we did, it was cool to see alot of the product we painted all over the place. The coolest was painting the hockey nets for nhl, ahl, and ohl.

When I work at H&G Powder painting, I do a bunch a different things like loading metal part on the line, offloading them off the line and pack them, make boxes for metal parts to be packed in, help others who are falling behind, and such. I learned different ways to work as team and I taught myself how to do things easier. My co-workers are friendly and funny, and are helpful. The hardest part of this job is working in the heat at a fast-pace, especially when other worker are falling behind. What I enjoy most about this job it that it keeps me busy with a lot of things to do and the people I work with. Also every last Friday of the month we get a free lunch.

if I could go back their I would hands down no doubt in my mind, I am speechless to give this company a review all I can say is that they do know how to treat their full and part time employees as human beings and slave workers this company deserves the up most best review of all time no matter what and should be recognized for this!!

A typical day at work:
taking a variety of metal products and putting them on hooks to sprayed in a sulfur chemical and eventually painted.

straight to the point, hard workers, motivational  

The hardest part of the job:
lifting 100 lbs metal parts for long periods at a time. 

the most enjoyable part of the job:
Getting everything done on time

For years I was told I was replaceable and "if you don't ill get a temp to do your job" so a lot of the time I had to do things I was uncomfortable with because I was afraid of my boss firing me for not doing dangerous work. Not to mention they take advantage of the older staff knowing they wouldn't be able to leave cause of the financial struggle it would cause. So if you get an interview here just ghost it and never go in

I've worked at this place for many years and it's honestly the most dirty , vile and underpaying , abusive and stressful place to want to work unless you are a degenerate like the people I have to surround my self with , Only reason I go to work is because I need money and don't want to be on welfare and sucking thee system off !

before a shift started I knew what colours were going to be used; as I get all colours ready and weighed in for that shift & every shift after that; positioning myself were I knew was going to be my strong suite shift after shift, also making sure that there is not any light spots.. always monitoring the part that I had painted, vaccumming and cleasiness was a must.

My position is very flexible. I can work whichever day of the week I choose and hours. I learned the position very quickly as that is the field of work I have been in for quite some time. My co-workers are very laid back and very easy and pleasent to talk to. I am a file clerk so I do all of the filing of bills and invoices.

I was a powder coater level3 ran the line for two years and was the worker health and safety rep for a year. liked my job but not much money. as time went on I needed to earn more wage and had no choice but to move on to something I could make more money it happends.

Very low pay but good job and life work balance . Training is good and the co workers are great, management very poor and treat you like you don’t know anything when you’ve worked there longer then most in management
