What is the best part of working at the company?
The people that worked there made the job exciting to go into work everyday 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Nothing is too stressful about working at Hayashi it is very simple work that as long as you follow the work instructions you should have no problem succeeding 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
They were very understanding if you ever had a problem they would do the best to improve your everyday work, They would listen to your ideas on if there is anything they can do to improve on the work centres 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
You start on the work centre you were assigned and you have 2 hour intervals on what usually ranges from a 2-3 team member process and there is usually 2 big categories for each team member, one is assembly and the other is quality control. And you rotate after every break, sometimes they will switch you to different work centres but usually if you are assigned that one you will probably be there for that shift

The workplace was often disorganized and finding support proved difficult quite often. The company makes a point to go out of its way telling new employees about work life balance and mental health support. However, this willingness to help fades quickly as you start to work there. They often judge and make employees feel bad for anything personal that may interfere with work. Management plays favourites among employees, allowing some employees more slack than other and bending rules for them. Management also feels as though they can change the rules or structure of work programs such as VTO days as they see fit and often don't follow the system outline that is explained to you when joining the team. 

My experience working here was short and not sweet. To summarize it. There’s team leaders that treat you like garbage and basically try to get you fired the minute you talk about making your way up. Other team leaders that don’t have enough work to do and talk about it all day long and as soon as they have one thing to do, they complain about the stress. Meanwhile team members have to run around very fast (not normal fast) and do the job of at least 3 people in a what their idea tact time is. I’ve worked many plants and this one is the only one I’ve seen push people beyond exploitation. The pay is no where near enough to survive on and they think a dollar raise will do the job but it does not. Lots of bullying between team members and nothing is ever done about it. This place is worse than high school. The only good thing is benefits and no overtime. I tried my best to be a good person and do my job and I still got bullied out. Very sad place to work. 

management is terrible and favorable to certain people. They have favorites, if you are not a favorite, your doomed! Human Resources does not stand up for you and support you. They do not communicate with you at all and always brush you aside with your problems and that's if you had any. You ask hayashi management to communicate with you and they avoid you. 
They give some people the availability to programs they serve but others they deny. Not a fair company with their employee's.  
Midnight shift is the worst shift to be on, Girls are vicious and attack you mentally. Was denied opportunities to progress in the company or progress in personally life. They are not a supportive company. I do not recommend to work here because of the management. Such a waste of time! 

Say goodbye to work/life balance: they expect you to drop your children’s medical appointments to work. 
Say goodbye to job advancement: they only promote favoured individuals despite others’ qualifications. 
Say goodbye to overall job happiness: the HR staff and shift leaders treat you like a child, they ask you to tell them confidential details about your life, then proceed to tell the entire staff like the place is a high school. 
Pay is almost minimum, overtime isn’t mandatory but they threaten it frequently, yearly raises are not allocated, and your health is not respected. 

Don’t waste your life here.

Management is hyper critical and often tries to pry into your personal life.  They ask you questions that honestly I don't think they are allowed to (such as "what medication are you taking?"), then make judgements based on what you disclose.  They are pretty demeaning and very condescending.  You're always sent to HR like it's the principles office.   

Promotions are strictly favouritism so don't hold hope to move up.  Pay is brutal!  Barely above minimum wage, but you are expected to treat Hayashi employment like winning the lottery.  

The groupe leads are a joke, building team members and favoritism. Work place harrassment means nothing to them. The HR department only looks out for the company's best interests and no professional manners. The factory itself is clean, quiet and fast paced. Some team members with long time positions can be rude and mistreat new comers leaving very little people coming back. Pay is not ideal and takes to long to make top rate and even that is not enough of an income to live off of. The incentive is a joke. Benefits and pension are okay. 

Fast paced working environments with a strong emphasis for continual improvement, and high quality focus. 

Working together as a team to assemble automotive parts. Hayashi has an extensive training program to ensure not only your success but ensures you’re confidence before you’re expected to work independently on line. Great group of people to work with, time gos by fast. No mandated overtime!

Like being in high school, very clicky

10 with travel time breaks team leaders are short tempered, very stressful atmosphere

From production operator to stocking up lines I worked for two years at Hayashi and it taught me almost everything I know to date. This place is an amazing factory, the cleanest factory you will ever see, the management is on point, and I don’t know what else they can do to improve as their systems of training and retention are above par for the normal factory environment, this is by far the best place I have ever worked and without them I don’t know where I would be today. In all honesty.
