Management cares more about productivity and money than they care about the well-being of their employees.
i.e// One barn (about 200 meters long) cares 750 nests for about 750 30-50 pound turkeys, and you must push them out manually. The nests are not suitable for the average person to work with and requires some manipulation and control of body mechanics - which is exhausting. You must perform this on the hour for 8 hours. Possible repercussions of the labour is a sore lower back from bending over, scratches on the forearms or arm, respiratory discomfort, and muscle fatigue. Management does not care how tired you are, you will be expected to never sit down in the barn and to always be doing something despite how exhausted you might be or how hot the barn is (not everyone knows what to do because no one formally trains you).
Received no formal training and when something went wrong I was blamed for not knowing it/not asking how it worked. Some processes in the barn are automatic (fans, feeding, water distribution), and in one barn there is an automatic egg collector (removing the strain on the employee's). However, a supervisor left leaving three employee's (each who had been there for less than three months and had received the most basic of training [that being to collect eggs]) were left to close down a barn - which ended in damages. 
The pay is not worth the amount of labour one must do on a day to day basis, and the unprofessional-ism of the management team. 
All in all, avoid working here and do fast food instead.

I strongly advise against spending your time applying for any position within this company. Unfortunately, they have a tendency to ignore candidates after several interviews, neglecting to provide even a basic email to update them on their application status or inform them of any rejection. Personally, I was genuinely interested in the job; however, my interactions with the HR manager and staff left me with significant concerns about their communication abilities, professionalism, and the overall work atmosphere. It is genuinely disappointing and lacking in professionalism for an HR manager to abruptly disengage from candidates who have invested time and effort into multiple interviews. Clearly, there is a need for the company to enhance their hiring practices and ensure they are competent in their roles before bringing in new employees.

My expectations were very high with a world-class company. However, they did not meet my expectations, zero commitment from the HR department, they never tell you anything about the company, you don't even know about the objectives they expect from you.

Everyone wants to pass the blame, no one takes responsibility for anything, there is no teamwork, there is favoritism and a high degree of competition. It is a place with people in extremes, some very professional and others without any professionalism.

The positive thing about this company is that, in short, you can get your papers quickly, if that is what you are looking for, but it has a cost, a lot of stress.

Worked here for a little over 3yrs, first in Internal Sales - lots of great experiences, people, management, learned lots, really loved my job especially the global team part, very thankful for this experience! Then an opportunity came up to be an Accounting Coordinator with minimal experience I took. The training was excellent however post training when daily support was needed as I was still learning. I was basically left to figure it out on my own and when I asked for support was belittled, made to feel stupid, often left in tears and felt very alone/isolated. I ended up losing my job as they “outsourced” my position from a company who can’t keep accountants. 

A typical day is started off with a shower before entering the Hatchery, then we process and vaccinate the chicks delivered, check the temperature of the chick's environment and perform any other cleaning duties that have to get done. In my years of working here, I have learned to be more independent and have learned even more about how to deal with conflicts when management fails to do so. As for the job itself, it is not very difficult but the pace of at which we are required to work is what adds the stress. The most enjoyable part of the job is definitely being able to apply my background veterinary knowledge and lab work (vaccinating the chicks, etc.) to the job.

As a maintenance technician, I approach my work with care and dedication, diligently checking and resolving issues to ensure safety and comfort. I am constantly developing my skills in electronics, wiring, PLC repair, plumbing, and mechanical work to better serve those around me. Supportive management and a growth-oriented culture inspire me to improve and succeed. The most fulfilling part is completing projects and repairs, knowing I’ve contributed to a safer and more comfortable environment for others.

If you have a family I suggest not working here. Life/Work balance is none existent, you have to work ridiculous hours, and weekends.  They try to give current employees a chance to move up in the company but there is very little opportunity to do so. There is a lot of favoritism within the company as a whole. 
You have to be able to move around to different locations. You do learn a lot, but unfortunately, the more you learn the more they expect from you and it doesn't show on your pay. 


Flexible work hours and work from home options. Continued learning and education opportunities. Good results and work ethic is rewarded. Fun company events hosted throughout the year. Hardest part of the job is working with a wide variety of people and levels of management globally. Most enjoyable is completing work that makes a difference in the Canadian agriculture sector and helping to feed the world 

A typical day at work can be stressful due to lack of communication between management and employees, lack of employees and lack of hiring new employees and proper training of new employees

A typical day in my position is going over day to day expectations and work as required at that particular time with employees. reporting to upper management and trying to solve issues on a regular basis.
