•	Duties with company were to appropriately schedule staff to ensure continuity of care in the provision of service delivery
•	Prepared for the hiring the process by; telephone interview and follow up of chosen candidate’s by interviewing in person and assuring the appropriate documentation submitted e.g. police check, immunization, references and college diplomas.  
•	Provided scheduled planning support to health care team
•	Prepared Staff Identification Badges
•	Updated and maintained client / staff database
•	Filed and maintained client records
•	Performed data entry of all relevant client, employee and billing information
•	Responded to all caller inquiries with efficiency and appropriate urgency with an empathic ear.
•	Generated and distributed various scheduling
•	Other office administrative duties as assigned
•	Exceeded regular work times due to time sensitive situations that arose un-expectantly

The pay is very low, mostly community work, hrs can be good but it depends on the clients and what they can afford  it’s a private company, very task needs to be paid for first. They have an office in a retirement home, staff are very toxic, the retirement home is hard to work with. Worked there for all most 1 yr before I got an increase in pay, only increased to 1$
It’s a nice experience for new graduates but Not recommended for people who have responsibilities like family or school since the pay is so low. Management don’t listen very well either, told them months in advanced I needed time off, they wouldn’t do anything until the last minute.

Clients are extreme nice and fun to work for, but it’s not worth it if the pay is low and staff aren’t the most friendly people.

I enjoy working for Home Watch Caregivers due to the flexible hours, taking care of clients in there homes has been interesting but also really fun. I love that I am being trusted to not only care for love ones in their homes but I am allowed to clean and do extra chores that are not assigned to me but that I can do them to not only help the loved ones but the client as well. Makes me feel like I am more than just a caregiver but a part of the family.

I began doing medication rounds and personal care in a retirement home when I worked for Homewatch, I did enjoy that aspect of my job. That in itself was a good learning experience. I did not, however, appreciate the management. They never gave us a clear picture of exactly what they wanted us to achieve. We were left on our own with minimal instruction or training.

Supportive, friendly work environment. Flexible hours. Ongoing training. Staff meetings and parties.

An environment where I could grow as a young professional learning the senior home care industry in North America.

My favourite thing I learned was about memory care/ Alzheimer's Car.

I worked for this private agency for 3 and a half years. It was great I gained a lot of skills and worked independently, as well as, with a team of coworkers.

Homewatch, professional but cheap with salaries. Good hours good communication but poor salaries expecially for the rpn and PSW
