On the average day I would print out the case ticket and read it, as well as ensure that an appointment was set for the particular client. Time management and a high level of organization are two skills I have developed while working for Hooper Holmes Canada. My map reading skills increased considerably thanks to Hooper Holmes, allowing me to go from client to client. Management would promptly call me if there is a client available as well as forwarding relevant details. I don't have many co-workers due to the nature of the job. 
Sometimes I have last-minute cancellations, but I managed to work around that by focusing on the next case. Meeting new people was the most enjoyable part of the job. The clients were very friendly and co-operative while I did my job.

This was a very stressful job.  A typical day was from 8:30 to 5:00.  You are on the phone all day dealing with clients.  We did mobile medical exams for the insurance industry.  You learn very quickly to be patient and most importantly to fix the problem. I thankfully had a good team who put their hearts and soul into their job.  Every once in a while, someone would compliment one of the employees for their efficient and excellent work.  This was most gratifying as usually people tend to complain when something goes wrong rather than compliment when something goes right.

It can be easy money. Or you can really work for your money. One appointment might take 25 min and the exact same appointment type can take you 3 hours and get paid the same $28. 

You are your own boss. The office staff  are demanding and not in a good way. 

If you tell them you are on holidays and they need clarification on something you wrote on a paramedical like what tid means, they will call you. 

The office manager can be a massive pain. 

If you speak up or complain your case load will go down.

Hooperholmes is a good company to start with if you're desperate for work. As a student the job is alright because hours are flexible and the people are pretty OK. The reason why I give this company low ratings is because the management is HORRIBLE and working as a tele-interviewer is LOW PAY. I do not recommend this job because there is absolutely no growth and you're better off working as a server at McDonalds because the pay is lower than minimum wage at times. The amount of work does not amount to what is reflected on paychecks.

•	Coordination of client appointments for physical examination and personal interview
•	Phlebotomy
•	Collection and preparation of blood and urine samples
•	ECG and transmission
•	Collection of client information and medical history, ship documentation and labs
•	Training of employees 
•	Facilitate new protocol and standards for processes

Pays you on time, but they pay half of what the other paramedical companies pay for medical examiners. If you have to deal with the Winnipeg office, Lord help you. The manager can go from nice to off the wall. Also that office everyone is friends or related so don't say anything bad.

Income after 10 years has cut in half to save directors job without care for people working there. Have you ever seen someone 10 years at a job who makes near half of what they did in the beginning. Owners are great but unfortunately all your complaints end at the director without a fight. Turnover is horrendous as the job is too stressful for the money you receive.

Helped me gain more knowledge as a customer service Representative.  The skill I learned are very helpful in performing daily job duties.  The most enjoyable part of the job is completing an interview without any conflicts with the client.   The hardest part of the job is dealing with a stressful client.

The management only wanted to talk about her private and personal life instead of work. 

On a typical day I would make/take calls and send out kits to applicants applying for insurance and I would also send out ECG machines to examiners who needed one.

Enjoyed this job but as I worked longer it became too many hours putting in 70+ hours per week and always on call. My family life was affected too much so had to give the job up.
